NO! That can’t be true!!!!!
We all know that 300,000 votes are much quicker to count than 3,000.
ITS A CONSPIRACY I TELL YOU!
I love you Newt. I love you I love you I love you!!!!
Endorse Rick. Take one for the country!
I don’t care who you support. There has to be a better way to pick a nominee than this current system.
I personally favor a natl primary. Every state. 1 day, 1 time. No early voting.
But there has to be a better way than this staggered system. Some states winner take all, some proportional, some a hybrid of the two. Some primaries, some caucuses, some beauty contest primaries. Some caucuses with bound delegates, some with unbound delegates. States vote over a 6 month period. The whole thing needs to be revamped.
The fact that Ohio was even this close is a win for him.
Fiddlesticks.
The fact that he hadn’t qualified in 9counties, means even if he won, he lost.
Now he’s in a lose-lose position.
Romney has just taken the lead in Ohio.
Makes one wonder why liberals don’t celebrate the Reagan legacy
Idaho is Mormon
bishop Romney will get Utah too
He won Utah with with 90+% in 2008..
No bigotry there
do I really need the handy dandy /s ???
Mittens registered correctly in all districts. Santorum and Gingrich did not. OH is one of THOSE states. Mittens gets the delegates and loses the people on the ground.
This isn’t going to play well in Zanesville, Mittens. And Steubenville isn’t going to be any too happy with Santo, either.
I agree. I could listen to newt speak every day. But I do wish he’d endorse Rick too. I’d love him in the admin too.
Iowa, maine, Mich and now Ohio— they do it every time.
Here’s an interesting tidbit from tonight.
Obama got just 55% in the Oklahoma Dem primary!

Hank
Santorum did not even begin to spend the kind of money Romney did in Ohio. I would say Santorum is doing great when you look at the small amt. of money he is spending to almost trounce Romney.
How is Romney going to get blamed for something that is entirely Santorum’s fault?
I suppose in your mind Newt winning one state is better than Santorum winning 3 and taking a close 2nd in Ohio, right?
Surely if this is the case, you will be able to explain this in cogent terms, right?
Kucinich and Marcy Kaptur are having a primary battle there between two hardcore, long time Rat stars there. The Democrats must be slowing down the vote to maximize their competitive cheating. The good news is that means Rats in those precincts aren’t free to cross over and vote Mitt. Still it does look like too few Newt fans cast useful anti-Mitt votes in a state, again.
VP Newt! Newt on the stage with Rick Perry, Bachmann, and Santorum. Mano-a-mano!
Mittens spent twelve million to register correctly. Big difference...
I would normally agree, but with so many states “having problems: that favor Milt, my radar is up anymore. We can thank the head of the GOP in IA for my paranoia.
Romney still in the lead in OH
