Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.
We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.
Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.
Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:
I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, andfamouslyI enjoy making enemies.
Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. Ive lost friends, perhaps dozens. But Ive gained hundreds, thousandswho knows?of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

—Possible explanation, sites were hacked, time for this hoax was set for April 1, but they erred on the date and input 3/1/2012 instead of 4/1/2012.—
That cracked me up. Being in IT myself I think you may be on to something. I’ve seen that sort of thing before.
If true, this is a terrible shock... Breitbart tread where few had the courage to go.
Yes, and that is scary.
Rest in peace, Andrew.
There was a false internet rumor to that effect that spread like wildfire a couple months ago. I was hoping this was the same thing. Appearantly not.
I’m not convinced yet. And the links on the story to read more.. and Larry Solov do not work.
It hasn’t been up there long..........
I thought at the time that he didn't look good.
It’s not a hack...
“...since he recently announced he had some college-era videos of Obama.”
YES....makes this even more suspect if true.
I would say yes, since he recently announced he had some college-era videos of Obama.

IF this is not a hoax and I’m still not convinced since I see it nowhere else, that is the first thing that came to my mind too.
>Fox Nation just picked it up and Michelle Malkin also just tweeted it.

—It is true, he died of a massive heart attack.—
Hmmm. Reminds me of that old TV show, The Invaders...
This is really odd, though I know of a guy in my community that was the same age and died of the exact same thing.
Mr. Breitbart was wrong on some issues and angered conservatives by his support for gay rights, but news of his death is sad.
Natural causes? I find that hard to believe.
.... On Drudge now ........

The guy speaking is Larry O’Conner, a close friend. He said it just happened and there are some in Andrew’s own family that don’t know yet.
