Rick has gone from a ten point lead in MI to a 3-6 point deficit in a little over a week, and in that same time span has gone from essentially a tie in Arizona to 10-15 points behind Romney today. His national lead has evaporated completely.
Can anyone withstand the bottomless pockets of Mitt Romney?

Ouch is right. Romney is getting the attention now. UGH! Well as long as Santorum continues to lead and wins Michigan we are safe and our country will prosper. If Santorum does not win Michigan we could be in deep trouble. Santorum is our only hope! I think he will pull this out. American needs you Rick! Work hard the next three days!!!
Ouch. Little Rickie is collapsing before our eyes. How sweet. Whatever toy God gives to Little Rickie, he is taking it back.
Fixed it...
RCP Average 2/8 - 2/24 33.1 28.9 14.6 12.4
Santorum +4.2 Woo hoo!
Hang at the top, Rick! Beat Willard the Lib! The Conservative reinforcements are coming!
I wish the mods would make it clear what is appropriate for breaking news.
I usually post polls like this within minutes of them coming out, but the other day some random “admin moderator” took all the latest polls I had posted in breaking out and said
“Would you please quit posting everything to Breaking News?”
I wish it was clear what exactly is appropriate to post in breaking news
Polls are like arseholes! Everybody (seemingly) has one! We have one in the WH as I type...
I saw that the other day. Until they explain that then it will always be hit or miss. You are doing fine.
>>> Can anyone withstand the bottomless pockets of Mitt Romney?
I’m afraid there is one... Barack Obama.
Gallup rolling poll lags but it shows the trend. It’s only going to get worse for Santorum.
It’s a “fine art” posting in Breaking News and to have it stay; always use it sparingly. ...All I’m going to say. :^)
The Reverend Rick’s extremely bad performance in the last debate is now starting to show, as well as the steady media attention on the record and history of a candidate who has had little to none over the last 10 months.
Hannity threw softballs to Santorum to help Rick get off the social issues and back on economic issues where the voters are. Santorum went out of his way to continue digging himself a deeper hole on the social issues.
Santorum does not realize that it isn’t a question of whether we agree with him on social issues. It is a question of priorities.
Obama has his hand in my pocket to grab my money, not ...
Given that Romney is one the benefiting, maybe you could explain why that makes you so happy.
By all means, encourage him to keep talking about himself like he does. The more he does it, the faster we can get a real master like Newt in office.
Really, that’s good. Considering the average debate, most of the MSM and the Republican establishment working against him, Santorum is showing quite a bit of resilience. The WSJ had two hit piece editorials on him yesterday, and Fox carries quite a bit of water for Romney. Santorum was never a star debater. He holds his own, but I expected a major bump down for him after the debate. So far Romney hasn’t knocked him out, though. What’s critical for Romney is getting the “inevitable” mantel again. The media and the Republican establishment will be doing their best to create that meme again.
