Hannity threw softballs to Santorum to help Rick get off the social issues and back on economic issues where the voters are. Santorum went out of his way to continue digging himself a deeper hole on the social issues.

Santorum does not realize that it isn’t a question of whether we agree with him on social issues. It is a question of priorities.

Obama has his hand in my pocket to grab my money, not ...

Let Reverend Rodgers keep running his mouth. In relation to the generally ignorant apolitical public, Santo came out of nowhere and they knew almost nothing about him. Now that they are actually starting to pay attention to him, he is losing popularity all on his own.

By all means, encourage him to keep talking about himself like he does. The more he does it, the faster we can get a real master like Newt in office.

“Santorum does not realize that it isn’t a question of whether we agree with him on social issues. It is a question of priorities.” - Exactly right. Romney supporters, Gingrich supporters even most Paul supporters don’t disagree with Santorum on the social issues. I agree with Rick almost 100% on the social issues. But that is not what the election will/can be won on. Our nation is bankrupt. Our economy is stalled. 46 million people are on food stamps, and the Obama administration is doing everything in its power to crush free enterprise & liberty and to bring about a European socialist state. If Santorum were president his first day in office he would issue a dozen executive orders that would roll back Obama’s assault on Life, Marriage and Family values, and when the time came he would appoint like minded judges...but Newt, Mitt and Paul have pledged and I believe, would do essentially the same. So what’s to talk about on social issues? The election will be won or lost as referendum on the Obama economy and big government and Santorum can’t sell an opposing vision. People criticize Gingrich for for his big, sometimes whacky, ideas but the American people are hungry for that. They can see the problems. Even lots of Obama voters from 2008 are frustrated and want a solution to restart an America with jobs, security and a playing field that makes sense. People criticize Romney for his vicious negative adds and huge spending to take down his opponents. They wouldn’t be crying about it if it didn’t work. Who will take that kind of fight to Obama? Rick Santorum? Count me skeptical of the the sweater vest man’s ability to to play hardball with the machine that is Hope & Change

Santorum went out of his way to continue digging himself a deeper hole on the social issues.

What a crock of nonsense. His debate performance and poor explanation as to why he signed on to the Bush agenda is what is hurting him along with the multimillion dollar Romney sleaze campaign.

Social issues will be part of the Presidential race and the GOP platform or the Republican party will cease to exist as we know it. Get used it.
