WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBSDC) Thousands of atheists are expected to attend the Reason Rally next month in Washington, D.C., an event that organizers hope will unify a large part of the secular community.

I know, but isn’t that photo impressive? lol
If they were really "secular," they would not care so much. These are very religious people.
I like it.
Another Soros.....ummm...movement.
Now, flush.
I like it....I like it a lot.
Love that commercial.
The stench they emanate. It was the "Occupy" hallmark.
It says ‘with participants in another rally.’
But what rally. Tea Party?
Every visit to the open sewer would expose us to a gay pride circus or anti- whatever extravaganza. Now I live a comfortable 500 miles away and wouldn't care if a 10.0 earthquake flushed the entire place.
"Nothing comes from nothing. Nothing ever could."
no, because if it rains and no one shows up, they’ll blame the rain for the low turnout.
But of course when 100 thousand pro lifers show up in the cold and snow, they don’t get much coverage...
Yep,unfortunately there's nothing imaginary about the theocracy they are actually encouraging.
"And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." (Rev 13:7-8)
"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools" (Romans 1:22)
When you die either you enter into an eternal dreamless sleep or the adventure continues. What do you prefer????
What recession?
What economic collapse?
What spiking taxes, energy, food costs?
Everything is fine here in Liberal Land.
You little people need to stop crying and pay your taxes. Your government is broke.
You left out my favorite, “Just Be Good.”.
(Why? As long as you don’t get caught, it’s all the same. In a godless world the soup-kitchen philanthropist is no morally different from the guy with kids chained up in his basement. And—to get into C.S. Lewis a bit—what is this “good” that you speak of? In a world without God, nothing is transcendent, so the definition of “good” changes with whoever is boss this week.)
I guess they don’t see the irony in their organizing.
A rally to celebrate belief in nothing. Should be a real whizz-bang event.
Interesting line I saw in a movie this afternoon (Pandorum)
The main villan said that he had broken the chains of morality and how freeing it was. In reality he had spent nearly a thousand years in a couple rooms of a space ship full of cannibals (resulting from him playing God) at the bottom of an ocean.
Good quote (I am a big fan of Clive Staples)
David Silverman, a chair for the Reason Rally Coalition and president of American Atheists, said that participants are motivated by positivity.
Were not going there to complain, were not going there to fight, he told CBSDC. [We want to] celebrate the fact that we are growing, we are stronger, and we are taking our place in American society.
This is nutty. Atheists claiming ownership of reason. They can no more prove the non existence of God than clerics can prove His existence. It's a matter of belief, faith. The atheists are not the standard for secular. They are attempting to impose their belief on others. When will theists start beating them with this argument instead of retreating as they get beaten in the courts using a fake argument of separation of church and state.
Very interesting. I did a Bing search, and then a google search, looking for a photo of stupid atheist protestors. I used “atheist protestor photos” as my search term.
What I discovered is that both Bing and Google are strongly biased toward the atheists. I turned up plenty of cartoons mocking Christians, and plenty of atheist sites saying how very nice and kind atheists are. But not a single photo showing atheists in their true colors. Not one.
It’s hard to see how I could get such a result unless both Bing and Google rigged their search engines to show atheists only in a good light, and Christians in a bad one.
