WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBSDC) Thousands of atheists are expected to attend the Reason Rally next month in Washington, D.C., an event that organizers hope will unify a large part of the secular community.

Somehow “thousands” and “massive” don’t exactly synch up.
The atheists should shut up, enjoy their freedom of conscience, and thank whatever it is they pray to that there are Believers in the world.
Stronger than what?
Stronger than what? Their last bowel movement?
Let’s all pray for some big bolts of lightening and lots of cold rain./
They all get a steel chair to sit on and a plastic bag to put over their heads for the rain.
No way there are 40-50 million atheists in America.
Hmmmm.
2011 Major blizzard paralyzes DC. August 23 earthquake fractures top of Washington Memorial and National Cathedral: August 27 Hurricane Irene strikes and Tropical Storm Lee within days of that.
Sure they say. “Let’s mock him some more and toss in some virgin and child sacrifices to boot.”
DC filled by atheists.....a much better target than any mobile home park ever made and The Lord has the range markers already set out.
Hmmm....more paid (by the left) protesters?
Let’s all chant together.
* Everything came from Nothing out of Nowhere for No Reason.
* Life is just a curious side effect of an unknowing and uncaring Cosmos.
* When you die, you are just so much compost.
* The best you can hope for is a life of self gratification and a painless extinction.
There, don’t you feel better now that you’re an atheist?
It won’t be “massive.”
Look under every rock and who do you see? Soros. I am betting he is behind this sudden “movement”.
It won’t be “massive.”
Stronger than the God they say they don't believe in, which shows how pathetic and fraudulent they are.
I love the photo caption in the story. “Photo taken from a different rally.” *snicker*
The sad thing is, the folks who attend probably think they are doing something “important”. I mean, it’s no skin off my nose if a group of atheists hold a legal rally. That’s their right to do so. But you just *know* half of them are going to be walking around thinking they’ve struck a blow against some imagined theocratic threat. Much in the way the spoiled brats of OWS think they actually accomplished something useful for the country.
Has anyone else noticed that it’s the militant secularists who are intolerant and self righeous? They want to force everybody in the U.S. to be like themselves.
I have never really been able to understand this obsessive conviction on the part of anti-religious commentators that to believe in God is to support a theocracy, or that any contemporary political figure - they accused George W. Bush, of all people - has ever made a statement, action, or gesture in that direction. This is a straw man without even the strength of straw and it makes them look even sillier than they already do. Baffling.
Stronger than dirt, but only if the have plenty of Ajax handy.
*rimshot*
Thank you, thank you, I’ll be here all week!
*flees groaning audience and a hail of overripe tomatoes*
:-)
