...the 2012 election is looking more like a replay of 2008 than a do-over.

The latest WND/Wenzel Poll shows...one in five GOP voters leaning toward support of Obama in November....

Obama also has made tremendous inroads on enemy territory against each of the four Republicans, winning roughly 20 percent support among conservatives and even those who consider themselves to be very conservative.

DO NOT under-estimate the "White Guilt" vote....it's part of why the Race Card is constantly played.

If you won't vote for a "Black" POTUS, you aren't trendy and/or politically-correct, AND, you are RACIST.

WND is an interesting site...I wonder if these numbers are accurate. If they are accurate, this is stunningly bad news.

I don't think it's bad news. There's no difference betwee romney or obama and this is obviously the response of people who won't consider him a viable alternative. I would have said the same thing. If he's still the candidate I may have to consider obama among other alternatives.

Blame me if you will, but I'd just as soon get "the end" over with so we can begin rebuilding from ashes.

First, the brawl that is our primary is turning a lot of people off

I know it has me quite turned off and starting to totally tune out.

In my mind when "they" start in on each other with the distorted and vicious lies it reminds of a ...well... I was going say a pit of vipers, but it is like I can here the growls and flesh being ripped off the candidates.

Even Fox News touts this as part of the "vetting" process and the other night I just looked at the TV and said...this behavior is not vetting, it is evil at work.

Define vetting: A thorough and diligent review of a prospective person or project prior to a hiring (investopedia). This is truly not what I see happening at this point. Thoroughness is given rise to fantastical distortions and that destroys the electorates ability to apply diligence to the decision.

I don't know if this poll is accurate, but if I am not the only one feeling like our primary process has become possessed with....(demons? insert word here)...then yes I can understand some folks latching onto the messianic and peaceful appearing 0bama.

I’ve seen a few people right here say they would vote for him if mitt is the nominee so it doesn’t surprise me. We need someone new and exciting to jump in at the convention.

I don’t think these numbers could possibly be correct... Unless the 20% they are speaking to are lying about being Republicans.

Stats like these are useless without more information. For example, What percentage of republicans always vote democrat? Also, how are these distributed among the states? If they are mostly from liberal states then they will have no effect.

How about a poll asking people who voted for Obama last time and will not vote for him this time AND a poll of those who voted against Obama last time and will vote for Obama this time.It is hard to find voters who will switch to Obama BUT it is easy to find voters who will switch away from Obama.

No real conservative wants anything to do with Obama. The language has been warped, twisted and spun so much that raving leftwing lunatics are passing as moderates and Mitt Romney claims to be conservative..

An idealogical conservative would NEVER support the hard left policies of the worst president in American history. This is absurd and reflects negatively on the credibility of WND.
