Last Thursday, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder appeared before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to answer questions about his role in the deadly Fast and Furious gun-running scandal. However, instead of answers, Congress got more defiance, more arrogance, and more wasted time with an attorney general who clearly feels no sense of obligation to the American people or our rule of law.
But for all the stonewalling, there was at least one telling moment at this hearing, and it should concern law-abiding gun owners and all Americans who expect accountability from our government.
In a rash attempt to deflect attention away from himself and his own irresponsibility, Holder let Congress know that the Obama administration is still working toward the day when it can reinstate former President Bill Clintons so-called assault weapons ban. According to Holder:
This administration has consistently favored the reinstitution of the assault weapons ban. It is something that we think was useful in the past with regard to the reduction that weve seen in crime, and certainly would have a positive impact on our relationship and the crime situation in Mexico. Its difficult to follow Holders logic here, but it goes something like this
The Obama administration particularly Eric Holders Justice Department oversaw an epic scandal whereby our own federal government illegally funneled thousands of firearms into the hands of Mexican drug lords. This contributed to the death of one U.S. Border Patrol agent and hundreds of Mexicans.

Posting hunting pictures in a 2nd Amendment thread wouldn’t lead readers to conclude that you are aware of that.
Besides, I like the picture because it shows a guy who may be interested in putting appropriate judges on the bench.
I started to add a phrase to that intent but later felt that self defense would/should encompass that thought. I got two rebuttals to my point to which I wholeheartedly agree but indicate that my my first thought was probably better.
Yeah, you have to be real careful these days.
Just so Santorum knows it’s not about hunting. It’s his ad after all...
Remember when anyone who said that Obama wanted to be dictator was met with scornful derision? It ain’t such a funny idea now, in fact anyone who still doesn’t believe he wants to be dictator is just plain slow to catch on!
At this point everyone in the MSM knows enough about F&F to know how corrupt the operation was and how hard Holder is working to cover it up. They also can see that the Dems are still trying to use it as an excuse for gun control. Their continued silence occasionally punctuated by weak excuses are now nothing other than complicity in the crime as well as the agenda.
I only hope the dems and theO WILL start planning to ban guns, they will all be out of office by Nov if they do.
0bummer administration wants to ban guns
This statement is part correct.
Conservatives will be banned from owning firearms.
However, many of the elite along with their self appointed victim groups ( gays, feminists, Holders people ) will be permitted to own guns in order to protect themselves from the bitter clingers and bible thumpers.
If a Republican AG had acted in such a fashion he would already be in jail.
We can say Molan Labe all we want to, but that is what Obama and Holder will do with one of their top secret security organizations.
Eric ‘the criminal’ Holder needs to be marched to a gallows in an orange jumpsuit wearing chains and a black hood put over his criminal head and a new rope around his anti-Republic neck. He has committed High Treason by which in a bygone era would have gotten this nation into a war!
Obama says “Constitution? We don’t need no stinking constitution.”
I’M sure he does now that this is getting out.
Bob Owens over at PJM has followed this story for some time and he’s come up with some even newer stuff showing even more people were in the loop. Holder may have purposely tried not to know about Gunwalker! The whole thing stinks.
