Folks, we need to be on our knees, NOW, praying for Newt Gingrich and for our country. I don't want this to be political.....Newt was not my first choice, but after seeing what the press did to Sarah, then Mr. Cain, and what they're now trying to do to Newt, with of course the BLESSING of Romney....well, we need to stop this NOW. We can ALL agree that NONE of us wants O'Bama back in office, that is a given.
I have children...lots of YOU have children. I have grandkids, lots of YOU have grandkids. I do NOT want them to grow up in a country that is no longer free.

Folks, we Christians have been remiss in not praying for America. We've been commanded by Jesus Himself to pray for our leaders. This country will fall, or not...depending upon OUR prayers.

Heavenly Father, we come before You as one, asking your forgiveness for our failure to pray. For our failure to stand up for what is right and what is wrong. I ask for your forgiveness. Lord, please bless this country. Help us to all have Your strength to stand up against evil, to speak out for those who are in need of Your salvation. Thank you for this thread and reminder. I once saw a post somewhere that asked “what if you only had tomorrow what you thanked God for today?” I will ask my Lord and God to help our country and those who will lead her back to being a God loving land.
Lord may Your blessing pour down upon Newt and his family. May those who are yet to understand the importance of this election be given the wisdom that will help them see the truth, may they be filled with a desire to follow your lead in what they should do. And Lord i pray that wisdom you give is to support the one man I believe can help return this country to a prosperous nation that again will be a beacon of freedom around the world.
A great hymn from our history that reminds me of the sacrifices so many have made and how divided our country has been in the past, much as it is now. Prayers that God will not turn his face from us, but will bless American and “as He died to make men holy, let us live to make men free”.

I am in Florida - yesterday I was on a conference call with Newt for Florida Christian Leaders - there were 22,000 christians on the call!! After Newt spoke and answered questions, the Pastor leading the alliance came on and asked everybody to consecrate themselves to prayer for the next 3 days - and that that was the most important thing we could do in Florida because the spiritual being waged against Florida - and the oppression in the air, from all the lies and hate. I have been posting that request every place I could find since that call ended last night, and now I am so happy there is a place of FR for systematic and dedicated prayer for Newt.
I am part of a military family and I say this psalm several times per day for those in danger, whom I love. I also say it for Newt.
“Newt dwells in the secret place of the most High and Newt abides under the shadow of the Almighty.
Newt says of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.

Prayers to Heaven for Bella, and her family. Lord I pray all is well. At a time when Rick is putting all he has into his candidacy, he is now being tried by this.

While we are at it, please also pray that the Enemy’s efforts are thwarted and come to no purpose; that God will remove Pelosi, Obama, Reid, Dodd, Boxer, and many others from their places of influence and prestige; that godly men and women will be elevated to positions of authority and will lead with humility and righteously; and that those who would try to bring chaos because Obama is removed will fail in their attempts as godly people show them a better way.
May God be honored in our thoughts and prayers above all else.
