Heavenly Father, Jesus your son said we can ask in your name and receive if we love and obey God, and confess our sins. So I confess all my pride, hatred, adultery, idolatry, dishonoring of parents, and mindless foolish talk and lack of consecration, and I will walk closer to you today and forever!
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I command the approval numbers of Mitt Romney to crash down to 4%, and for Newt Gingrich to be victorious. I curse the candidacy of Mitt Romney, since his lying anti-Christ Mormon covering would be a curse on all America.
Gingrich is not a perfect man, and I pray that if he is not, he be born again, and that you bring him to holiness that he would be saved.
I pray for a Christian revival among Christians, that Christians would stop sinning, that you would be pleased be 2 Chronicles 7:14.

We lifted our prayers up that conservative public figures would do the right thing, and it looks like they are.
I remember writing a very strongly-worded letter to Herman Cain asking him to do the right thing and NOT support Mitt Romney. If he follows through with that here tonight, maybe we do stand a chance of winning this after all.
There are many records of God working his will through incredibly flawed men in the Bible. Look at King David, sending Bathsheba’s husband to his death so he could have his wife for his own. Look too at the Apostle Paul, who spent his time hunting down Christians and wound up being one of the greatest witnesses.
But we should remember that sometimes God doesn’t answer our prayers the way we hope. Maybe Newt won’t win in Florida. We should pray for his success, but pray doubly hard for the fortitude to deal with the outcome, whatever it is.

Place Your desires in his heart and help him to find favor with enough voters to win this critical election. We ask in the powerful and awesome Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we come before You, and lift up our beloved nation in prayer. We repent of our sins and beg forgiveness for the multiple murders of the innocent unborn that have gone unchecked for nearly 40 years. We pray that the tide of filth emanating from the media be stopped, not by censorship or repression of free speech, but by the free market of discerning, righteous people who JUST WON”T BUY it, and thus giving it no market. We pray that the corruption and greed of the political establishment be reversed by men and women of valor who follow Your Word when choosing their ethics and behavior. We pray that the lies, calumny, false witness, propaganda and character assassination against decent people CEASE in the Name of Jesus. We pray that plots to destroy individual candidates be exposed, that Truth will rise to the surface, that the True Light of What is Right will vanquish the plots and foul schemes of the enemy.
We pray for Newt, a flawed man like ourselves, but, by his own admission, a follower of Jesus. Let him stand, not upon his own righteousness, but clothed in the righteousness of Christ.
We lift up also those Fellow Americans who found themselves targeted by the media because they DARED to buck the establishment. We Pray for Sarah Palin and Her Family, who experienced the full brunt of this abuse, for Michelle Bachman, For Herman Cain and his family, For Rick Perry, and Rick Santorum, and others who found themselves on the receiving end of this assault upon their character. Let them not be discouraged from ever participating in the electoral process in America because of these attacks. Let them not lose faith in the Dream of our Founding Fathers because of the twisted evil that was purpetrated upon them.
Most of all, Dear Father, we pray for the Individual American Voter. Give them Wisdom, Discernment, Faith in Your Word, Determination to Do Right, and most of all, clarity and safety as they attend the polls.
We pray for a tsunami of righteousness to bring about swift and sure repentance, revival, and restoration to our beloved land. Forgive us our complacency and renew our fervor.
