Anne Coulter pal Matt Drudge has declared all out war on the Gingrich campaign. As of 7am Eastern time he has 9 negative mentions about Newt (none on Romney):

Your stated sentiments are shared by many. Many of us are being left in an ‘impossible situation’ with the choices we are being left with. I blame the person who I would rather see in the race (even now) for this train-wreck we are being forced to watch.

I’m with you. How on earth can he think that Romney will be anything other than a weak sister of a candidate, destined to fail, is beyond me. I’d sure like to follow the money trail.

The media outlet or an aggregator picks the stories they will run and the stories they refuse to cover.
Many times the stories the media does publish are slanted.
Even when the stories are accurate, the headlines sometimes misrepresent the facts.

Used to check drudge quite regularly, but I scaled down to twice a day about a week back, then once a day for the past two days, and as of this morning’s quick peek at the 4 or 5 anti - Newt links that were piled up, I decided I have had enough of being herded.
No more drudge for me.

I know Jim could ban me, but I don’t think he would. Our goals, at least for most of us, are nearly the same. The discussion now is about how to get there, not where to go.

In Massachusetts, the LSM full-court press is on. Every story is anti-Newt. Even all of the conservative talk shows are arrayed against him. It’s sickening. I hope it backfires.

I have simply stopped using The Drudge Report as a news source. Until recently, my browser opened with three pages as my homepage(s): Free Republic, Newsbusters and Drudge.
Now I only have two pages that open! Until he can show at least SOME semblance of balance, I am done with Drudge. I don’t watch CNN, MSNBC or any of the other far-left-wing “news” sources for the exact same reason!
Ann has jumped the shark with me these last two weeks in her continuous rant against Newt. Watching her with Bill O’Reilly , Ann would not even address the comments about Mitt that Bill challenged her on. Her elitist attitude is leaking from all her orifices...get lost Ann....I may buy one of your books in the dollar bargain bin but don’t hold your breath.

The MSM has not been bad in attacking Newt here, I’d say it it’s about fair.
It’s pretty sad how easily so many (supposedly) conservative voters just refuse to think beyond a headline and vote accordingly.
Worse is how such morons go to conservative sites and proudly display their sheer ignorance, all the while complaining when people point out their folly.
If I didn’t know better, I’d think they were paid democrats trying to spread their agenda by making conservatives look bad...nah...that’d never happen...
Just removed Drudge from my bookmark list. I probably went there 10-15 times per day, no more.
I am down to two news sites - FR and HotAir.
What prompted my post was that he was linking Jimrob into the response with a “get out of here” message.
I was, frankly, appalled. It also comes from history. There are a lot of old timers being banned on what I perceive to be a hair trigger and without warning.
But it is only a perception. I could be way off base.

If so then it shows the establishment is in power over there and Hume hates Newt.
Explains it but after all of this the establishment think we will just shut up and still vote for their candidate, well not a chance here.

Never understood why a person who wants the homo agenda or wants Romney would come on a conservative website and then lecture us how the base, the conservatives should all change to fit their big tent crap.
It even states by Jim that you will be banned and still they come on here getting their sly digs in about Newt or social true conservatives.
It has to be paid Dems from media matters and move on or it has to be arrogance by the poster.
