From NBC News:
Failing to show early signs of momentum in the Sunshine State, presidential hopeful Rick Santorum on Wednesday signaled he may be cutting out of Florida before the states Jan. 31 primary.
Speaking to reporters here, the former Pennsylvania senator said was unsure if he would be in Florida the night of the primary, committing only to campaigning in the state over the next two days. On Saturday, hell head home to Virginia for fundraisers and to prepare his tax records which he plans to soon make public.

You need to knock that off. I never threatened you.
Ruh-roh...do I see it comin’??
That’s true. The Myth Machine would be running day and night trying to make the records vanish.
When did that happen? How does one know when it happens. Tell us about it.
Back in the Palin days I thought West would make a great VP for her - the next day he comes out with a derogatory remark about the TP. After that, I don’t even consider him anymore. I know Newt did mentioned him as a possible VP. I hope not. I don’t decide a candidate on looks - that’s liberal - like they did swarming after clinton and the dope we have now.
Not a problem, have done it myself
Ron Paul was right when he said Santorum fooled a lot of people into believing he’s a conservative. Thanks for the link.
I hope you know that I don't, either! {^) No, be assured that my tongue was planted firmly in-cheek when I wrote the post. Certainly West is handsome -- but that should have no bearing on one's decision whether to support him. I was just making a joke.
and that ladies and gentlemen is one reason he lost his position as SENATOR OF PENNSYLVANIA..
He was living in Virginia at his last election also and we voters knew he had moved from his rented home here and was schooling his kids in Virginia..
SERVE THE STATE IN WHICH YOU LIVE...LIVE IN THE STATE YOU SERVE..
Same for Gabby Giffords, she served ARIZONA and lived with her husband in TEXAS...
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS???
I didn't catch it when Ron Paul said that, but he's right. Rick Santorum is a big government 'conservative'. He's convinced a lot of conservatives that he's got the right Tea Party credentials to be our standard bearer, but those people haven't taken a close look at his actual record.
There's no way you can square that record with the Framers' principles of a small, limited, constitutional government.
santorum’s votes go to newt!!!
My popcorn is ready. All we can do is watch the show and see what happens.
I believe she trusts in "Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. Romans 12:19
"It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them." Deut 32:35
You said explode next - that means there already was one. I asked what was it - what did it look like.
Paul said it two? debates ago. I thought Paul was acting political at the time but he was right - I found out tonight through a link posted that listed how he voted - NO way is he conservative. Newt’s record is more conservative. The last of the conservative candidates, my ***!
Santorum is a social conservative and he was one of the steadiest social conservative in the Senate. Social conservatives tend to be big government people. They are more interested in promoting what they (correctly) think is our traditional cultural values than they are in saving tax payers money or limiting the growth of government. I think all conservatives need a little bit of social conservative in them, certainly enough to be strongly pro life, but to much social con is not a good thing and leads to socialism, for all the right reasons of course. Santorum was close to being a good all around conservative, it is to bad he was so poorly lead by the spend spend spend GOP of the Bush era. He had great potential.
DUH! It was the link you posted! I think I’ll take that as a sign I’m done for the night. It was good info though. Thanks!
Unfortunately for Rick Santorum, he couldn't have picked a worse time in our history to be a big government guy - even if his motivations for being so are somewhat noble.
Rick should have spent more time with the Tea Party rebellion, to get a sense of what it is the people are demanding at this time. It sure isn't bigger, more intrusive, more expensive government, that's for damn sure.
No, the people have more and more adopted the mindset of the Framers on social issues. Those problems are best left up to the people, or the states. The federal government needs to be stripped back to its original constitutional constraints, and be re-oriented to its original duties and purposes.
