[history]
President Obama is putting plans in motion to give the Commerce Department authority to create an Internet ID for all Americans, a White House official told CNET.com.
White House Cybersecurity Coordinator Howard Schmidt told the website it is "the absolute perfect spot in the U.S. government" to centralize efforts toward creating an "identity ecosystem" for the Internet.

It continues....this dbag has got to go. The Constitution is an obstacle for him and his policies.

Once the your Internet ID is implemented by big-gov, you'll be charged an annual registration fee.
Like you car and the DMV, they'll have ya registering the same ID# over and over and over...Then some drooling government control freak will suggest they double the fees, and fine ya if you're late.
Register soon with fatgov, to avoid the late fees.

I am totally disgusted with the Republican Party (and also the Democrat Party). Where is there any leadership in this country now? Most if not all are willing to sell out the Constitution and their oath to protect and defend same for their share of money and power. The past 20 years has been the DEMs and GOP splitting up what is left of this nation and who's party gets what.
We now have none in office willing too say and follow through with "We mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor"

This is actually an outstanding concept, but it is certainly nothing new.
This thought has swirled around for years but as you well know, there is no such system. Can anyone guess the reason? ... that's right, nobody will trust a single entity with the security for ALL of the bank accounts, medical accounts, etc etc etc... Even RSA failed everyone who thought they were the icon of secure authentication.
The idea will never take roots, especially with government having their fingers in it... this is ripe for patriot act inclusion.

So what they are saying is you wont be able to buy or sell without it.Hmmm. Sounds kind of familiar. Kind of like this:
so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name (Rev 13:17)
Nope, nevermind, no similarity at all...

Simple test; would our country's Founders deemed this a proper amount of information and control for our government to have?
Of course not.

Anytime the current administration contends it is going to implement something for the benefit of US citizens, the objectivity tube in my brain fries.
We can’t afford to wait until 2012 hoping that obama will be dethroned.....he needs to be removed from office before he destroys our nation.

Id header:0110.0110.0110 In the earlier days of the Internet (before Netscape went public), say back when I was on a 1400 baud phone modem in 1996 or so, I had a major crash of AOL's Web Crawler on my ghoulishly slow Spark laptop. I waited, and waited, and waited...
Finally, it came up, but on the upper left corner of the window, instead of displaying WWW there it was: 666.
Spoooky.
