“Well, since Sheriff Joe Arpaoi has been put in charge of Perry’s campaign in Arizona, it seems to blow big holes in your theory about Perry coddling immigrants.”
Again, I’m judging Perry by HIS RECORD as governor, not by the stunts he does to try to make up for it. He had A DECADE to do something about the problem here in Texas, but virtually nothing was done.
For example...South Viet Nam.
And, thanks to another liberal, Iraq is likely consigned to the same fate.
So, tell me again. Why couldn't Rick Perry get our legislature to give him the same sort of anti-illegal immigration bill that's been signed and enacted in other states, in TEN YEARS as Governor?
Before you answer, remember that he's had a Republican majority legislature since 2010. Go ahead and explain to me why he hasn't been on every news channel in Texas, blasting the legislature for not getting this to his desk.
“BTW, you should probably come to grips with the idea that Cain is not running. That train has already left the station.”
He said he ‘suspended’ his campaign...LOL. I’m just too lazy to change it.
“Find Liz in forum. She had a nice ping. I believe AZ is stopping funding. Wasnt there also a school district in Texas that has come under fire for the same crap?”
Let me know if you can find something on it. It’ll be interesting to compare the leadership in both of our states when confronted with the same type of issue.
My first Dream Team would be Bolton/Newt- but the reverse would be the second! Can't you just imagine the reaction from the Libs/commies?
Oh, I don't doubt it. Like all of the border states, there are counties in Texas that are de facto outposts of Mexico.
When I lived in Los Angeles, I remember having to do business in parts of the county where you had a hard time finding a soul who spoke English.
Or perhaps a different one? ANYONE?
"Sales to Europe and the US, which comprise about 40% of total exports, were not expected to recover next year.
The ministry said China would instead target exports to developing markets in Asia and Latin America.
China will also try to boost its imports from the West, the ministry said, in order to help support their economies and to balance out China's trade surplus.
Exports to the European Union fell 9% in October versus a year ago, and exports to the US fell 5%.
The country's total exports, however, were still up 15.9%, thanks in part to booming demand from Latin America."
Ping for later reading.
If I found somebody I agree with 99% of the time, I'd probably consider getting married again. :-)
I adore Rush, but, to be honest, he makes me crazy at least 15% of the time.
Thanks, but I was really looking for something similar in Texas. I just don’t recall it - maybe it hasn’t happened, or maybe they’re doing it near the river, but no one has complained.
Did any Candidate, talk about: OBAMACARE IS A MONOPOLY, AND THEREFORE VIOLATES THE ANTI-TRUST LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA in Saturday nights debate?
Frat boys lie.
A lot.
Newt is fearless.
Awesome defined.
I can't even imagine any of the other candidates going after the press as directly and articulately as Newt has done. Repeatedly. God bless him.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry Pushes Harshest Anti-Immigration Bill Yet Passes Senate Jun 17,2011
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Texas Senate Republicans flexed their muscle again, shoving aside angry and tearful objections from Democrats to pass a bill that gives police officers broader powers to ask people they detain about their citizenship status.
I googled this info on a website called cuentame. Looks like Gov Perry made them mad
