ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Bernalillo County Sheriff's Deputies have charged Juan Galindo, 37, for the rape and death of his girlfriend's 1-month-old infant daughter.
Deputies say around 4:00 this morning, family members called 911 from a home in the 1900 block of Lake Southwest.
When deputies arrived, they found the baby girl already dead. Medical investigators were also called to the scene.

I’d bet that, 50 yrs ago, the finances of this family ALONE would have disqualified the “mother” from taking the baby out of the hospital. THIS is why the former America looked into “fitness” of a parent.
He just snuck back over the border illegally to better himself, do the jobs Americans wont do and live the American dream.
Sounds familiar:

I’d hold off on the necktie party for now.
Im here in sunny Albuquerque.....
The mother leaves a 4 week old baby and goes to the casino?
The worst is in the article linked to further down on the first page.
Evidently this poor baby girl was abused almost from the time she came home from the hospital. X-rays showed she had healing broken ribs in various states of healing. This poor child was both anally and vaginally raped and had blood pooling around her even down into the foot of her onesie.
To think that there are good, hardworking adults in this world that would have given anything for a beautiful baby girl and she comes into the lives of people like this. Her mother had to know something was wrong. An infant doesn’t get broken ribs without someone knowing something.
Dear God please look after this little angel and make her afterlife so wondorous as to make up for her pitifully short time on earth.
He can call the new DHS HOTLINE for ‘jailed immigrants’...

Yeah, I had to go find another article. Saw a lot of this type stuff in NM and know the surnames are common there, so I never jump to legal status unless I see it verified, another article.
Watched a show on ID the other day, Cops & Coyotes, about border control agents. In TX they were discussing how hard the desert is for the illegals to cross, how they are lied to, etc, that it will only be a couple of days. Well, first, once one makes it across and knows it isn’t a couple of days, they would tell others behind them, so I don’t buy that. But, once they are here, we reward them with all forms of social support. We encourage them to make the trek, good & bad.
I was thinking the exact same thing; it's why I'm posting now. I'm not normally in favor of the death penalty (I think it's overused even in our country) , but if there was ever a perfect case for it, this is it.
drawn and quartered might do it...even that is too merciful..
Oh, this shocks you? Had that guy arrested the other day, whole family was staying in the casino hotel, and he left his kids in the motel room. Gone so long, kid called 911.
You mean Hispanic names aren’t European? Since when did Spanish names not qualify as european?
High on meth, too, says your link.
What happened here? Legalizing drugs, like giving amnesty to invaders, is supposed to make problems go away.
Rabid animals should be “put down” ASAP. If I were this precious baby’s mother I’d make sure this rabid animal didn’t ever have the opportunity to do this again!
Some crimes still cry out for trial the day of the arrest and execution on the courthouse steps. This is one of them.
Ok, I guess I misread your post. Sorry.
More along the lines of Smith, Jones, etc. It seems that people on FR jump on any “Hispanic” sounding last name as equivalent to illegal. Since we are talking about NM, which is heavily Hispanic and Native American, carrying those “Hispanic” last names, I try to caution people not to jump to conclusions.
Just put in general population at the state pen in Santa Fe. He will have the most tortured miserable life possible until someone kills him. Even the most antisocial hard core criminals will reject this monster and administer some prison justice.
Earlier I had read heroine... maybe both? Poor NM has been at the mercy of both drugs for far too long. We always knew when a bad lot of heroine came into town with the spike of drug overdoses hitting the ER.
