You mean Hispanic names aren’t European? Since when did Spanish names not qualify as european?
More along the lines of Smith, Jones, etc. It seems that people on FR jump on any “Hispanic” sounding last name as equivalent to illegal. Since we are talking about NM, which is heavily Hispanic and Native American, carrying those “Hispanic” last names, I try to caution people not to jump to conclusions.
