URGENT: PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION AT THIS LINK to show you Stand With Sheriff Joe Arpaio, and AGAINST the political witchhunt of Obama's Department of Justice. This Administration and its open-borders allies La Raza, MALDEF and the ACLU, will stop at nothing to try and destroy the most prominent national symbol in the fight against illegal immigration. I haven’t received an email back either. It’s only been about 30 minutes though.
I signed it back at about 15,000.

I posted the link to the petition on my Facebook page, and I’m already getting a bunch of ‘likes’.

This afternoon I tried posting on the standwithjoe site as Sally Field, using the e-mail address blahbloo@ shoot I can’t remember what it was, but it was the same fake e-mail address I successfully used at the change.org site. I checked all the signatures from noon onward and didn’t find it on there. I don’t know how they know who is real and who’s not, but at least so far I’ve not been able to sign under a false name or email address.
I just signed the petiiton and then emailed it to all my friends.

Signed the petition. Proud to stand with Sheriff Joe Arpaio. But count among those who have yet to recieve a return email. If I need to do something else to make sure my signature is counted then anyone please let me know.
I am also going to sign this from my home computer and send it out to people I know.
You could probably moot that ACLU petition being that I would bet most of it is signed by illegals.
I just accessed your post from yesterday...no I did not get an email confirmation from the petition on Arpaio I signed over 24hrs ago, I did not check to see if my name was on the wall as there are now over 20,000 signatures and I did not want to page back a hundred plus pages to check for my name. I think it is a legitimate petition, just a poorly constructed and monitored one, but how will we ever really know, unless we start getting spammed.

I signed the petition and my note to Sheriff Joe was posted about 30 minutes later. I didn't receive a confirming email, however note that on the thank you page (http://standwithjoe.com/thankyou.php?pageNum_WallNew=0&totalRows_WallNew=22907), it states:
I take that to mean we'll receive an email after they've actually delivered the petition.

They are getting a HUGE rush of signatures today...at least 3,000 so far, as they try for 25,000 by midnight. Yesterday they were 500 behind the ACLU/La Raza/People For the American Way petition that was featured on Fox News Latino. Now they are 4,000 AHEAD. Amazing.
At 10:50 p.m., 12/31/2011. The signatures are now over 25,000 in number and will probably go over 26 thousand by midnight.
As of 10:09 pm CT, the count is 25238.
