Staffers working for the Democratic governor of swing-state North Carolina have been using embargoed federal data for political advantage, putting state employees at risk of jail time, according to emails uncovered by the free-market John Locke Foundation.
Republicans jumped on the news to demand explanations from embattled Gov. Beverly Purdue, whose declining poll ratings may stymie President Barack Obama’s campaign to win the state’s crucial 15 electoral votes in November 2012.

It's not all Yankees pulling the Rat lever at election time.
Since 1879, NC has had Rat Governors for all except 2 brief four year periods. It's a tradition. The last GOP Governor was 1973-1977. This year we elected the first GOP Legislature since 1898.
I will admit though a lot of Liberal Yankees are stinking the place up - just like they are stinking every other place up. I say that as a transplanted Yankee!
But if the Bamster thinks he is winning NC in 2012 like he did in 2008 he has another think coming - unless Ron Paul runs 3rd Party. Then he might win.

Seriously, though, I think that people have Rat Scandal Fatigue. Criminal, immoral, or unethical behavior is not only normal, but actually encouraged and expected, if its goal is to produce the desired “progressive” results.
