I am watching Corzine, since it has the potential to take down the entire system.
Which is worse, the corruption of our entire financial system, or the corruption of our justice system.
Or is everything just about "gone down the drain", and the USA, as we once knew it, over.
Yes.
MFG was just money.
F&F killed people, and continues to do so................
I’d say since Fast and Furious was an actual government policy gone twisted, as opposed to a private act of theft punishable by law, it’s worse for the country.
Is there an all of the above choice + the other 13,000 pages of things Obama has done since elected...
Jail time for both Corzine and Holder, for starters.
Can you imagine if Fast and Furious was headed up by Bush? And Corzine was a Repub?
Oh my. The Lib media would be having a f****#* orgasm. Instead, Fast and Furious is barely reported. And Corzine is whitewashed, rarely listing his connection to Obama and Dems.
Don’t forget Obamacare!
There is only one reason to try and errode the 2nd Amendment.
Rome fell in 476 AD. Most folks in the provinces never knew it happened. I think future historians may mark the end of the USA to about the time FDR subverted the constitution with the Commerce Clause abuse. Perhaps they will generously move the date forward to the election of Obama
It’s not the justice system I’m worried over. It’s the fact that Eric Holder and his underlings committed an overt act of war against a friendly neighbor by arming an insurgency against a legitimate recognized government. At least when Reagan armed the contras, he was acting against the interests of an unfriendly state and the USSR.
I agree that MF Global is only money. If it leads to the unraveling of our entire economy, however, it could kill many more people (indirectly) than Fast and Furious.
Holder and the other miscreants in the Dep’t. of Justice can be impeached, accused, tried, etc. But, they appear to have violated international law -
so much to worry about, and there seems to be nothing the average citizen can do, at this point.
I think the USA is going down, not like Rome, perhaps, but more like the banking system developed in Italy, by the Medicis. But, just a guess on my part - I don’t know much about how they fell.
Let us not forget that MF Global achieved Primary Dealer status under Corzine and the massive purchase of Europe debt could have been under the direction of Obama and the Fed.
The corruption of the Obama administration is so deep and wide, we may never know the extent. There is corruption in every phase of anything that Obama touches and that means every phase of American life. The tip of the iceberg as it were. The MF Global situation will be another bailout. It plunges deep into the democratic party but as Obama says about his daughters, this will damage all Americans but Obama and his cronies will be just fine.
And as Holder finally acknowledged during the questioning, F&F supplied guns will be appearing at crime scenes for years to come.
Everyone involved in this needs prison time. Lots of prison time.
Mark
Both obviously are bad. But at least F&F was exposed before gun control laws could be enacted.
MF Global could be a symptom of a greater problem. That is an appauling breakdown of the most important and elemental function of financial institution: TRUST. A segregated account cannot be raided. When this sort of thing happens, the liklihood of a widespread panic increases. People will take their money out of their accounts en masse.
If 0bama is re-elected, we will see people pulling their money out of their accounts across the board. If more people, investors, savers, producers, stand up and state that they will take their money out of the bank if obama is re-elected, this could help wake up some of the apolitical and dormant electorate.
The coronation of the Fraud Hussein was worse.
I’m thinking the corruption of the justice system is worse, because when it’s broken, lawlessness and corruption will rule the nation in most every aspect of our lives.....financially, economically, politically, morally, and spiritually.
MF is a very unfortunate name for a company.
MF is akin to a random spark igniting a house suffering a prolonged propane leak: expedient neglect leads to a dangerous situation, whereby a random though statistically inevitable event blows everything up. It’s not so much malicious as systemic.
F&F is akin to someone drilling a hole in the propane pipe in a room where a smoker lives: a deliberate act with predictable results. At best it’s criminal negligence and at worst malicious intent, even if the perpetrator insists the consequence was unintended.
On the whole, people rank malice as worse than systemic, even if the latter causes more harm. Consider that few get worked up about 50,000 annual automotive fatalities.
