Knowing her, I’d wonder if these guys just used and dumped her. Ah whoopee, it was a thrill with a King! Now I gotta go on my way. And by biblical lights, she was not wrong to remarry if the cad walked out on her and fooled around (in either order). Though maybe God would want her to minister as a single person, which has its own advantages.

I don’t think he’s a skirt chaser but I suspect he might be an easy mark for a certain type of skirt.

The idea that these attacks are from the left, the DNC, Axelrod or anyone else connected to the democrats is just plain stupid. Cain was riding high in October. Any political operative worth half his salt who got ahold of this kind of incriminating stuff...real or manufactured...would not use it NOW. If anything they’d try to knock off Cain’s opponents so he’s advance to the nomination. The rats would love to use this kind of crap against our NOMINEE...using it now would be stupid.

I was one good-looking broad in my youth and didn’t need to prove anything. How about you?

I, too, was one good-looking broad in my youth.

I’d rather see Nugent as Secretary of Defense.

Holy smoking glass parking lots!

Every woman knows all she needs to about men, especially men like you.

Do they really?

I like midgets and clowns and crack-hos in a ditch.
I like chicks that own breweries and deer leases.

Know all about that, do you?

We all make mistakes. We all sin. That doesn’t mean that she isn’t a good woman, or that she can’t be an effective Minister, far from it. Her experiences may have made her a more compassionate, understanding person. She is a special woman, as someone else remarked.

Nope, I was never a good looking broad.

I have often wondered about the etymology of the slang term “broad” for a sexually attractive woman. Some of them have narrow bodies, the only part in which broadness is tolerated being the, er, bosom.

The word “broad” has nothing to do with attractiveness or sexuality. Most often, it is applied to women who are thought of as being good-hearted, funny, and enjoying the company of men. Think of Rose Marie as Sally in the old Dick Van Dyke Show.

I’m not being catty. I’m inclined to be lenient toward her, although it does create problems for outward witness when a person goes through multiple marriages for reasons other than being widowed. But personally as HTRN I do not stop at seeing a multiple marriage situation. I have known a number of conscientious, devoted Christians who got walked out on by unreasonable spouses, some of them purportedly Christian themselves.
