We all make mistakes. We all sin. That doesn’t mean that she isn’t a good woman, or that she can’t be an effective Minister, far from it. Her experiences may have made her a more compassionate, understanding person. She is a special woman, as someone else remarked.
I’m not being catty. I’m inclined to be lenient toward her, although it does create problems for outward witness when a person goes through multiple marriages for reasons other than being widowed. But personally as HTRN I do not stop at seeing a multiple marriage situation. I have known a number of conscientious, devoted Christians who got walked out on by unreasonable spouses, some of them purportedly Christian themselves.
