I’m not being catty. I’m inclined to be lenient toward her, although it does create problems for outward witness when a person goes through multiple marriages for reasons other than being widowed. But personally as HTRN I do not stop at seeing a multiple marriage situation. I have known a number of conscientious, devoted Christians who got walked out on by unreasonable spouses, some of them purportedly Christian themselves.

Consider that she said she knows the philandering type. It takes two to make a marriage, and sometimes the failure of a marriage is more of a reflection on the transgressions of one spouse than the moral character of the other.
