Five illegal immigrants armed with at least two AK-47 semi-automatic assault rifles were hunting for U.S. Border Patrol agents near a desert watering hole known as Mesquite Seep just north of the Arizona-Mexico border when a firefight erupted and one U.S. agent was killed, records show.

“With all due respect, Newt was very pointed in the humane treatment...”

With all due respect, Mazda, Gingrich was very pointedly setting HIMSELF up as the “humane” one while we who might disagree with his approach as “inhumane”.

With all due respect, Mazda, Perry was very pointedly setting HIMSELF up as having a heart, while we who might disagree with his approach as “having no heart”.

Is any conservative stupid enough to fall for these two guys blatherings?

“Like it or not, we will need Latino pickers and field hands for decades to come.”

That’s racist. Are you WASPS too lazy to do your own outside work?

Don’t get me wrong. I was pointing out what he said and it was not blanket amnesty. I still have problems getting on his wagon in that the illegals here today are in no way “law obeying” citizens. They cannot pay taxes on legal SSN documents and that further complicates the sum total of what he said.

I am “heartless” in that if a person is found guilty of a crime in this country, they will be sent to prison and the family will be broken up anyway. We need to be making correct arguments and not falling into hyperbole in an attempt to make a point. Make sure we are making the correct argument that can stand scrutiny.

I was pointing out what he said (and what Perry said) was so insulting, condescending, and patronizing to the GOP Primary Voter, that the verbal trickery they were using was worthy only of a liberal, elite, career politician that is so cynical and jaded by his life as a professional politician, that he thinks he can talk his way out of any outrageous statement or flip-flop, or outrageous position whatsoever.

No, you are the racist. To state a fact, that has been proved over and over again is not racist. It is reality, and its too bad you don’t understand that.

We fired beanbags at them? How heartless and inhumane!

Just think what would have happened to them if they got caught with cigarettes.

This IS the mentality of our govt.

Az can thank the people at the hate group called. Citizens for a better AZ for this. This hate group openly condones illegal immigration. Dead Americans mean nothing to hate groups like citizens for a better AZ.

So, you prefer Romney, then?

Folks are making too big a deal over this. Newt certainly doesn't advocate surrendering to the thugs as somebody put it and I'm pretty sure he said to enforce the laws on the books. That would include this tragedy.

I personally think the border should be guarded by US military forces that we withdraw from Europe. Civilian Border Patrol should handle arrests resulting from firefight survivors. ROE should reflect the invasion of home soil aspects that we've been dealing with for so many decades. That's just for penetrations of our national borders. Folks already here illegally is another matter. Please hold your flames. I sent my fireproof jammies out to be cleaned.

“I can’t feel my legs,” Terry told one of the agents who cradled him. “I think I’m paralyzed.” Bleeding profusely, he died at the scene.

They left a tiny little interesting fact out it seems. They put the wounded illegal on the rescue helicopter before Agent Terry. Yep, they did.

I’m not a Gingrich fan, but he is not for a broad amnesty; he is not in favor of “surrendering to these thugs.”

Lets pull back, redraw the countries boundry to a safe area. Its the humane thing to do. Its not like sending able bodied people to fight the incursion would work..

Worse Than Gunwalker? State Dept. Allegedly Sold Guns to Zetas

Phil Jordan, a former CIA operative and one-time leader of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s El Paso Intelligence Center, claims that the Obama administration is running guns to the violent Zetas cartel through the direct commercial sale of military grade weapons:

Jordan, who served as director of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s El Paso Intelligence Center in 1995, said the Zetas have shipped large amounts of weapons purchased in the Dallas area through El Paso.

(snip)

“They’ve found anti-aircraft weapons and hand grenades from the Vietnam War era,” Plumlee said. Other weapons found include grenade launchers, assault rifles, handguns and military gear including night-vision goggles and body armor.

More about State Department involvement...

— has sources claiming “Obama’s man in the State Department,” (former) Deputy Secretary of State Jim Steinberg, was the State Department operative who helped Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and the Department of Justice Deputy Attorney General David Ogden formulate the strategy that led to the tactics used in Operation Fast and Furious.

Steinberg took office as Deputy Secretary of State on January 28, 2009

A little more than two years later, it was announced that Steinberg's time in the Obama State Department was over. From the New York Times, 30 March 2011:

Mrs. Clinton heaped praise on Mr. Steinberg, describing him as an “indispensable” partner. “On every foreign policy challenge, big and small, he has helped formulate our policy and oversee its execution,” she wrote. Mr. Steinberg, she said, played “Oscar to Jack Lew’s Felix,” referring to Jacob J. Lew, her other deputy, who left earlier this year to become Mr. Obama’s budget director.

We’ve never had a “humane” policy when it comes to migrant field workers. Just so you know, I used to pick strawberries in the Capristrano Valley, CA, nearly 50 years ago. The Mexicans were hostile towards American field workers then, and they’re certainly more so today.

I disagree that we need foreigners coming here to work in the fields. We need farmers who will stop planting crops requiring hand picking.

I now only buy locally grown produce here in southwest Washington State or grow my own. That is an increasing trend and with the price of transportaion soaring due to gasoline prices, it shows no sign of abating.

If we don’t discontinue bringing in Mexican field workers, then Mexico will follow through with their nearly century and a half desire to take back the western half of the United States.

Only about 4% of all illegal aliens work in the agricultural sector.

Because both parties are ‘in the bag’ with socialist globalism.

We do not have a party today that represents U.S. sovereign interests.

Our government is swamping this nation with foreign nationals, and I don’t think we know the half of it.

It’s my take that we bring in far in excess of what is reported with regard to refugees. We are turning almost every community in the U.S. upside down, with foreigners that have only been here from zero to one generation at best.

The loyalty to the United States is being destroyed as fast as is humanly possible.
