Is it just me, or is anyone else getting a little sick and tired of the “worship of students” in this country?
No, you’re not alone. Nothing but the biggest collection of spoiled, whinny, ignorant, self-indulgent clueless little brats any generation has ever produced.
The wild, rabid, destructive riot in support of the child-rape enabler Paterno has tempered my affection for Penn State. May Paterno and the rest of the pederasts or pederast protectors suffer unspeakably forever.
All I see at the game is a bunch of people in the stadium trying to say “We are such good people. We really care....”
Puke.
This is disgusting beyond belief. Other schools have been penalized and destroyed for far less, but this time the altar of political correctness is being displayed in all its power.
All in the name of "diversity" and "tolerance". The homosexual agenda (a key component of Penn State, a school proud of its LGBT programs) must be fought and destroyed by Christian Conservatives.
They are showing the “for the kids” spelled out over and over on painted blue naked male chests. This is brazen.
I suspect that not a single person in that stadium had anything to do with the crimes that occurred.
Here’s what this looks like to me. Freepers who now wish to trash the hell out of Penn State for the awful crimes of a few are very much like the people who trash America for atrocities committed by a few. It seems like to be consistent, those trashing PSU must also hold that we are a racist, imperialist nation.
I’m proud of this country and I’m proud of Penn State.
It’s disgusting.
Did you catch the choreographed LONG moment of silence when the PSU players were huddled together just before kick-off?
I thought that was nice.
They were honoring the decade of TOTAL SILENCE when McQueary, Paterno, Curley, Schultz, Spanier, et al, did nothing as children were being raped.
Bully for you. You are defending the indefensible. You are defending a hideous university. Enjoy yourself.
Perhaps the pistol of fellow Pennsylvania R. Budd Dwyer is still available?
And then the Penn State Band can play “Hey Man, Nice Shot.”
OMG...keep the barf buckets handy...
Sandusky must have stashes and stashes of things that will come out if anyone touches him. Snarlen Arlen’s must have another magic bullet theory for homosexual predators that Sandusky now has, or something.
Some PSU alumni have started a defense fund for Sandusky.
I noticed that thus far in the game coverage ESPN showed footage of the student candlelight vigil but not the student riots. Why is that?
I don’t think most of us are tarring and feathering the entire university. Anyone with a brain knows better than to do that.
But in the wake of the recent riots, I find the Governor’s statement a little too broad the other way. There’s a lot not to be proud of, both in the actions of a few and the reasction by many students, many of whom probably don’t know the facts. He would have served the student body and the state better by simply staying out of it.
