In 1928, Herbert Hoover was elected POTUS with 58.2 percent of the vote and 444 EVs to Al Smith's 87 EVs. During the Great Depression of the 30's, which started during his first, and only, term the encampments of the homeless and unemployed were named: "Hooverville". An empty front pocket pulled out of one's trousers was called the "Hoover Flag". He was decimated in the 1932 Election by FDR garnering only 39.7 percent of the vote.
Some have begun to "tag" these "Occupy" Encampments as "Obamaville". This clever, little ploy needs to pick up some steam in order to identify Obama's failed policies as the enemy of the people, not Capitalism. Then, we'll see how proud Nancy Pelosi and Michael Moore would be to identify with the "movement". It would be politically devastating for President Clueless.
LOVE THAT LOGO!
Alas, a neighbor couple of ours, with whom we’ve done business for a number of years just revealed that they are for Obama, that he has not been given the tools to do what needs to be done! This just made us gasp incredulously that these otherwise balanced and reasonable people could be so duped. They have their OWN set of small businesses and somehow have swallowed the Lie. Made us very sad, but there is no convincing them.

See whitedog’s post 16!
The Austrian Corporal would be proud of the OWS blackshirts.
Launched it on my email list too! Thanks!
Hoovervilles were set up by truly destitute folks the Occupy movement is not that by any stretch of the imagination. They are planned & controlled gatherings of anarchists ,communists, socialists & ignorant but idealistic but indoctrinated/propagandized useful idiots .
They are in fact very similar to military garrisons because that is what they are garrisons for Barack Obama’s Free Shit Army of Occupation.
Excellent graphic
Rush just used the term “Obamaville.”
At approximately :37 minutes into his first hour Rush said “it’s Obamaville out there.”
Just a coincidence?
