In 1928, Herbert Hoover was elected POTUS with 58.2 percent of the vote and 444 EVs to Al Smith's 87 EVs. During the Great Depression of the 30's, which started during his first, and only, term the encampments of the homeless and unemployed were named: "Hooverville". An empty front pocket pulled out of one's trousers was called the "Hoover Flag". He was decimated in the 1932 Election by FDR garnering only 39.7 percent of the vote.
Some have begun to "tag" these "Occupy" Encampments as "Obamaville". This clever, little ploy needs to pick up some steam in order to identify Obama's failed policies as the enemy of the people, not Capitalism. Then, we'll see how proud Nancy Pelosi and Michael Moore would be to identify with the "movement". It would be politically devastating for President Clueless.
There isn’t anything that will change the outcome in 2012 for IMO those who would consider voting for 0bama in the first place are just way too stupid to be convinced to change their mind.
I think this is a very accurate description. At least in my town, I went by their encampments and it DEFINITELY looks like a bunch of homeless squatters.
The small business folks you’d think would support them (based on the types of businesses and their backgrounds) === I’ve overheard comments that they don’t support these moochers eithers.

You are right that the new term would be fitting, but I think Occupy is becoming a derogation description on it’s own. Either way, they look like a bunch of losers.

So, are you saying that Obama is going to win in 2012? I know people who voted for Obama in 2008 and now, they wish to hell that they had their vote back; for real.
But, what we want to do is “identify” those “losers” with Obama; blame the destructive, costly actions of this societal scourge on him.
Just take every opportunity to repeat it. It will catch on. Also email the suggestion to Cain.

That is an excellent icon for Obamavilles! There should be one on display at each Obamaville in the U.S. Is someone going to head up that committee? I don’t have time - I have to work for a living.
