Secretary of State Hillary Clinton shared a laugh with a television news reporter moments after hearing deposed Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi had been killed.
"We came, we saw, he died," she joked when told of news reports of Qaddafi's death by an aide in between formal interviews.
Clinton was in Tripoli earlier this week for talks with leaders of Libya's National Transitional Council (NTC).
The reporter asked if Qaddafi's death had anything to do with her surprise visit to show support for the Libyan people.
"No," she replied, before rolling her eyes and saying "I'm sure it did" with a chuckle.
The video of her, and these words, were carefully planned. She's marginalized and politically weak, but she wants people to still be afraid of her. So she knew they were going to get Gaddafi, and she flew over there to be filmed making this comment. That was the purpose of her entire trip - for people to see her as the great, gloating murderer, and be afraid.
But it's an illusion. Unfortunately, it's enough of an illusion for millions to live in piss-stained pants for their entire pathetic lives. Nevertheless, it's an illusion. That's why the only genuine thing about Hillary's video is her laugh.
I thought for sure this was some sort of satire. Guess not.
The video recordings of her these last few days, talking about Cain, Libya and other matters have been embarassing and shameful IMHO. She does not carry herself or behave as a Secretary of State of the United States ought to behave, IMHO. At best, she is sophmoric...in truth, she’s moronic in her behavior.

OBL was the mastermind behind 9/11. We are at war with terrorism. He was a casualty of war, taken out by the SEALS. Qaddafi was the leader of a country, taken out by a savage mob. A jerk, but alot of dictators are. I don’t see this as something to be flippant about if you are the Sec. of State of the US.
Yeesh NOT the right thing to say. What ever happened to NOT spiking the football? What happened to humbleness of spirit. Oh yeah glad he’s dead BUT I do not like what is happening to countries after the death of these tyrants; shar’ia law established by Muslim B-Hood is much worse for the general populace. That said, yay, Daffy Khaddafi is gone but I would not dance on the grave of an enemy because it’s just wrong and I fear something and some one and some group will come in and make Ghis daffiness look like an angel in comparison.
Exactly what I was thinking. Can you imagine the uproar if Pres. Bush or any republican would have made a comment like that?

Bill deserves no sympathy—they deserve each other! Too bad they couldn’t just get dumped on a desert island and entertain each other with their witiness for the rest of time. :-)

And it should, because people like that will keep pushing it, taking the wrong messages when whatever initiative they take seems to be working out ok, despite the warnings of wiser people. Then, they will drag the country into a completely disastrous situation, and expect their betters to bail them out of it.
