Obama proud of leadership in Libya

"There is no doubt that we did exactly what we said we were going to do in Libya, and I believe it underscores the capacity of us to work together as an international community. The U.S. obviously has unique capacities and we were proud of the leadership we showed in that process.

"But increasingly, whenever we have the possibility of working with outstanding partners like Norway, then I think we are going to be more effective. And the U.S. will always preserve its right and duty to protect ourselves, our allies and our interests. But what it shows is that on a whole range of international issues, there is enormous capacity and we are able to leverage greater resources, more effectiveness and lower cost when we are able to work together.

President Obama told a bipartisan group of members of Congress today that he expects the U.S. would be actively involved in any military action against Libya for “days, not weeks,”

So now he’s trying to weez off of old Mo’s capture and public execution?

Yep, Skippy was right there, giving Mo a gang type beating before pulling the trigger himself.

Sigh.

If Bush and Cheney had done this, the commie left would be calling them “war criminals” and screaming for them to be “tried” in some international kangaroo court. Quadaffi was an evil pig but his assassination was nothing to be proud of and doing an end zone dance over. The celebration is the Barry’s state run “media” is disgraceful.

Funny, isn’t this President the same Senator who wanted to impeach and try Bush for Bill Clinton’s rendition program? If anyone is to believe this Totus’ chest beating, who is next on the hit list?
Perhaps his beloved U.N. will seek his arrest.

Of course Obama is thrilled.

A tinpot dictator who was muslim, but wasn’t a foam at the mouth, fundamentalist is removed. The replacement? The muslim brotherhood’s choice of a leader.

Pravda will pimp this as a major accomplishment of the Obama administration in an effort to get Obama re-elected.

Barry is a loon, a loose cannon and will go after the American people who oppose him.

I’m starting to think that I wouldn’t feel badly if the OWS vermin would wake up and go after hussein themselves.

How about your role in springing the Lockerbie bomber, Barry? Proud of that too...?

BTW, anyone else wondering about things like the timing of Hillie's visit and the size of the convoy Gaddafi was reportedly travelling in? Cuz I sure am.....

And leadership, my derriere. I've got an acronym that provides an accurate description of Barry's role: REMF.

Pardon my French.

I call BS on the President on this one, from the standpoint that the administration never really said what the mission was in Libya. How can he say we achieved exactly what we set out to do, when he never said exactly what it was we were doing in Libya? As I recall, the mission was supposed to be along the lines of preventing a bloodbath and preventing Qaddafi from slaugtering people, NOT regime change and overthrow of the government.

So now that it’s all over, Obama comes out and says how we succeeded in what we set out to do???? And we’re supposed to take it seriously that he knew what the heck we were doing????

Next he will complain that he doesn’t get a poll bounce from this. He didn’t get a Bin Laden bounce. He didn’t get a Tucson bounce. He didn’t get a jobs speech bounce. Now he won’t get a Libya bounce, and he will wonder exactly why he doesn’t get a poll bounce from doing things which he thinks the conservatives would approve of.

And with this whole “Arab Spring” thing, it’s far from clear that we will see democratic governments take control in Libya, Egypt, etc. Obama and liberals are praising these revolutions which overthrew dictatorships, however, we don’t know what will replace them.

We don’t even fully know who the Libyan rebels are. As best we know, they are a rag tag group affiliated with Al Qaeda. Is the world really better off if Libya becomes an Al Qaeda state??? And the strongest group in Egyptian politics is the Muslim brotherhood. Suppose Egypt slips into Muslim tyranny? Will the world be better off for that? Will Obama and liberals still praise the Arab Spring if we see bad results from these revolutions???

Dead men tell no tales!!! The mantra and motivation of Barack Hussein Obama, Adolf Hitler & Joseph Stalin. Yes, kill your friends and enemies alike!!! Then, they can never reveal your evil plans and schemes. Birds of a feather flock together!!! Americans, beware!!! Under Obama, you are in harms;s way!!! The MIddle East is lost by the actions of the Obama administration. Egypt is lost to Obama’s Muslim Brotherhood, Libya is right behind Egypt, Iraq becomes Iran as soon as USA military leaves Iraq. Israel stands all alone as the only true democracy in the Middle East. The destroy America Obama plan is working quite well, as America sleeps its way to downfall!!! Sad!!!

Our "president" (note lower case) will take credit for any situation that he can. He does this because of his upbringing and his past experience as a con artist. And believe that "once a con artist, always a con artist" is the controlling factor here.

Regarding the "forces of liberation" in Libya, just pull out the Old Testament, dust it off and read some of the horror stories in that tome. The Muslims have never, and never will, crossed the Old Testament/New Testament Rubicon that is the dividing line between inhumanity and horror and the enlightenment brought about by the Christian era. They will not cross that line because of their parentage and societal indoctrination. They are frozen in time and, in the case of the Libyans, expect more inhumanity and you won't be disappointed.

We, in this country, are at the beginnings of revolutions that will take place on a continuing basis in our population centers. The people carrying out these revolutions are doing so at the behest of a con-artist type leadership that intends to finish-off individual liberty and the capitalism that goes along with that liberty. And, most of the revolutionaries have only the foggiest of notions why they are doing what they are doing. The people engineering the revolution have planted this malignant little seed in the minds of the many and, as that seed grows, all logic and reason is destroyed.
