Take it for what you will...posted on Mark's page just now: BREAKING: GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN TELLS MARK LEVIN SHE IS NOT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012.
She is not running. That isn’t me having PDS, that is you not having a grasp on REALITY.
Palin herself said she wasn’t running, that is what’s new. Or are you calling Sarah Palin a liar with your posts?
I doubt it but that is not important. What is better is the fellow labelled PDSers (friends) that bought the hype that she would run and we kept re-assuring them that she would not (run).
BTW, you might like this as I can smell BS a mile away and dont trust people I never met:

FWIW — I just want to say to my fellow FReepers who are serious Palin fans that I’m sorry. I know what it’s like when a candidate who you really put your heart and soul into doesn’t do what you thought they would or ought to do. I’ll bet, though, that she only made this decision after a great deal of thought.
FR is and will remain a pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-limited government constitutional conservative site with or without the GOP and definitely without Romney the uber progressive RINO POS!!
Anyone who cannot live with that is more than welcome to go join a True Blue Republican RINOs R Us Wanker site.
I love Sarah but when I wake in the morning my life will go on.
“I have read a lot of the thread and saw some crudeness and ugliness on both sides. I am sure the DUers have a field day when conservatives lay aside their values and attack each other.
I trust well help each other find the candidate that can get us out from under the yoke of bondage we find ourselves in at the present.
I will do my best not to attack others. I hope other FReepers will do the same. Its a huge turn-off besides being unhelpful.”
AMEN Thank you for saying what really needed saying.
RN, you are an FR treasure! :)
I can’t remember when a thread has kept me in stitches (get it — thread? stitches?)
Every time you post the dryness sucks the humidity out of the room, and that style of humor is my favorite.
I am not being sarcastic — my admiration is quite honest my FRiend!
Negative. I'll vote for Cain, Perry, Bachmann, and even Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman over Romney.
A. He was the establishment pick in 2008 and lost to McCain, the last pick of both the grassroots AND the majority of the establishment.
B. He is untrustworthy. I know what I'm going to get from Huntsman and Paul. Romney has flipped more often than John Kerry.
C. Jobs will be the number one issue this campaign. Bain Capital laid off a large number of people. Obama will go after "job killing" Romney.
D. Gun grabs and Romneycare.
Romney is from my home state. His dad was governor here. He couldn't break 40% in the primary here against McCain in 08. He won, but not like a home state candidate.
My old home is near Roscommon. It's a populist area and is ripe for the taking and usually votes for the winner election time. These are white union members who are open to voting for some republicans because of social issues. Reagan Democrats. Home state or not, I'm going to have a tough time trying to sell a Bloomfield Hills raised, Cranbrook educated flip flopper who enacted Romneycare, signed a gun ban, recently campaigned as pro-choice, and laid off a bunch of people in his business, and was by all accounts an average at best governor of Massachusetts. Good luck with that.
“Cain can be president with Gov Palins support from the outside. He should be answerable to her for his actions. Gov Palin will be the REAL president.”
Was that a joke? You forgot your /sarc tag.
Thanks . I have seen this all before so it was no surprise to me.

If freerepublic doesn’t take a firm stand, nobody else will. Some parents give candy to their kids every time they start a temper tantrum and then they wonder why their kids never quit screaming and yelling.
Awww...well thank you.
Thanks. I’m very disapointed to say the least. I guess I’ll have to look into Perry and Cain a bit more now. Sort of like looking into a college or job and really looking into the one you want to go to and learning ALL about it, and thinking what it will be like, etc.
Then getting the rejection letter and now its “Great - now I need to look into these other places I wasn’t all excited about. I guess. If I have to.”
You should repeat this phrase: Secret Ballot. Your remarks sound sort of silly.
Someone should a study on the the abusive element of the PDS’ers. Palin supporters never fire the first shot.
Serious? They used to ‘open fire’ on me every single time I (correctly) pointed out that she was obviously not running.
That's true and it's exactly why those who have been on the receiving end of nastiness for the past couple of months need to rise above it. This too shall pass.
Let them grieve. Let them be angry. Let them be depressed. And when they're ready to pick themselves up and move forward, forgive them as is your Christian duty and then extend your hand in FRiendship. It's time for patriots to come together and FIGHT LIKE HELL to defeat Romney and then Obama.
When they're ready, onward we march.
Me too....
....and splitting the money between Cain and SaraPac
I’m disappointed that Sarah isn’t running, but I can’t say I’m shocked. The liberal media utterly DESTROYED her reputation, for nothing other than she DARED to challenge to
“The Annointed One!”. The most abrasive Palin hatred has come from the radical gays in the activist left, and in the media.
I’d have supported her wholeheartedly had she ran, with time, effort, and money, but I wasn’t under any illusions. Apparently, neither was she.
My PRIMARY concern is getting Barack Obama and his corrupt fascist minions out of the White House, and whoever the Republican Nominee ends up being, will get my support.
“OK so Bush shouldnt have supported his tax plan since the Dems would let it expire for the top brackets.”
Bush lowered the rates of an existing tax. That is a vastly different thing than instituting a new tax that the US has never broadly had in its modern history.
“Any better ideas???”
1. Sure don’t give the Dims a whole new tax to that the US had never broadly had in its modern history.
2. The Fair Tax idea of moving to a consumption tax after a constitutional amendment outlawing income taxes is one interesting idea.
3. Moving to a flat income tax with few exemptions.
4. Shifting tax settlement day from 15 April to say the first Tuesday after a Monday in November. Did you ever wonder why tax settlement day is as far removed from election day as possible?
5. End double taxation of dividend and interest income.
6. Quit taxing the inflation part of capital gains. Any president could do this by executive order.
There are lots of good ideas of what to do with the US tax code and even more ideas if you are just talking about spurring economic growth to get out of this recession. None of these ideas involve giving the Dims yet another tax to raise when they get back in power.
