The Occupy Wall Street protests and former White House green jobs czar Van Jones are the beginning of an American Fall, according to Rep. John Larson, chairman of the House Democratic Caucus.
In Tuesday evening remarks before a group of visiting activists and journalists from Egypt and Tunisia, Larson said the United States has drawn inspiration from revolutions in those countries and, as a result, is experiencing its own Arab Spring, if you will.
In an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller following his speech, Larson said left-wing activists with the right morals are pushing Americas democracy to evolve.

I guess its all aimed at canceling the next election?
AC-130 would do nicely..........
There is no doubt in my mind these “protests” were orchestrated from the White House and probably bankrolled by George Soros. Van Jones’ appearance was no accident, it was a message from the White House/Obama campaign.
With the hints from Obama, Gov Perdue, New Republic and others that democracy is getting in the way of “getting r done” it seems they are hoping for violence to flare up from these “occupations” in multiple cities. That is called a “pretext”.
I wouldn’t doubt that might happen. Then all they’d have to do is have an occasional flare up from a shadowy “rebel group” from time to time to justify “extreme security measures” against the rest of us.
Sounds like something from a bad novel, the President launching his own rebel movement to make himself pres-for-life.
Good eye. Now that's humor in a jocular vein. ;)
AC-130 Spectre Gunship.......
So Larson thinks that the OWS movement is an attempt by Al-Qaeda and other Islamist hardliners to overthrow the U.S. government? When does NATO start bombing Washington?
Exactly how I see it knowing how these “people” think. And also knowing my 20th century history.
They’re romanticizing their desire for the
“purge of the bourgeoisie by the proletariat”.
They forgot something, though - the forgot to disarm “the bourgeoisie” first.
flour doesn’t store as well as wheat.
buy a mill.
Can’t seem to find bulk wheat anywhere around here.
They ought to be on every radio and tv channel calling them out for stirring this up. You could bet that the Dems would be pinning this on the Pubs if it was the other way around, they are experts at it. Another great chance to hang this on the Dem's and the unions and they are sitting in their office sipping coffee or martini's.
While they’re all protesting, get thee hence to the local elections board and, at minimum, become a poll worker. SOMEHOW ensure that the polling site WILL be open and the voting machines WILL be on (and that there WILL be a paper-and-box backup available).
You might have to get it shipped.

White flour lasts for years if stored dry and away from excess heat and bugs. NOT in paper sacks, air tight containers. I’m using some white flour I bought in 2008. Whole wheat flour goes rancid often within 6 months. But white flour does not sustain life as well as ww. Best to store white flour carefully, wheat berries and a good mill. Bread made with ww and some white flour to lighten it is tasty; if a person is not used to 100% ww flour better get used to it now.
It probably helps to deep freeze your flour in its storage container in order to make sure the bugs/eggs are dead.
I only have a small freezer so I have never done that. I buy all kinds of grains/beans/flours in bulk and store them in buckets, a few times I used oxygen absorbers but didn’t want to spend the $ any more. I always put a few bay leaves scattered in the bulk foodstuffs - a few on the bottom of the bucket, a few in the middle, and a couple on the top - maybe 6 leaves or so altogether, a pound of bay leaves goes a long way, and when I use up a bucket, I re-use the leaves.
I read a few places that bugs hate bay leaves. In years I’ve only had bugs get one bucket, and it was brown rice for the cats so it didn’t matter. The main reason (IMO) people get bugs is when they buy foods in cardboard cartons like crackers, cereals etc and then store it. I buy only bulk food in 25# bags and shortly after purchase put it in buckets and also large glass jars. I rotate and use stuff up within 2 to 3 years generally. No bugs ever except that one bucket of brown rice.
Here’s another thing you can use -
diatomaceous earth.
It’s a food grade powder that is harmless to people, but is deadly to bugs (anything with an exoskeleton) due to its micro razor sharp properties.
Sprinkle a bit in a storage container and turn it so that it covers all surfaces, then pour in your food stuffs.
This protest doesn't help Oboma. Most Americans prefer to live in peace.
The longer it goes on, the better it is for us. They're spinning their own rope - especially now that the union thugs have joined their game. If the Republicans get involved, it gives the Communists a chance to attack them and make them the enemy as well. Right now, it's only Wall Street. If they sit back and watch the left self destruct, they're still be squeaky clean in 2012.
No. This is Obomas doing. Let him own it. Let him reap what he's sewn. The communists are being ignored, so they're going to have to up their rhetoric. If upping the rhetoric doesn't get them the attention they want, they'll have to go even farther.
Remember, these are OBOMAS people. OBOMA will get the blame for instigating this class warfare.
THEN the Republicans can get involved. The left can't blame them for any of it.
Agreed, but like any spoiled brats, they will have to throw their temper tantrum before they come to the realization that they are 0.01% of the population, will get used by the democratic machine, andin the end just don't matter...
