The conventional wisdom is dumping hard on Rick Perry. Politico blared Friday, in the wake of his fumbling debate performance, that he might already be Texas toast. This tells me now is exactly the time to buy Perry stock.......
....The conventional counterargument, of course, is that the establishment will circle the wagons around Romney. ..... But I can mount a highly plausible counter-counterargument for why it may not.....All we've seen these past two years is establishment Republicans accepting one extreme demand after another.
My case then extends to the question of who will make up the GOP primary electorate.... Henry Olsen of the American Enterprise Institute......divides GOP primary voters into two campsdispositional conservatives and ideological conservatives.....Olsen writes that the GOP has always chosen the next in line candidate because most primary voters have been dispositionals, and he thinks that will hold this time. I'm not as sure. The number of ideologicals has surely grown. If Olsen's right, then Romney, a next-in-liner if ever there was one, is probably the guy. But if he's wrong, then there's every reason to think this logic won't necessarily hold.
Lastly, my case hingesand here's the second reason I'm buying Perry stock todayon the plainly observable fact....
....Who can possibly really like Romney? He's like your boss, or the regional supervisor who comes by the office a few times a year. You tolerate him and suck up to him, but the experience is completely phony and awkward. ...........Perry? Well, I find him repugnant, of course, but I'm an East Coast liberal. I'm trying to look at this through others' eyes. And I think he's the kind of person Southerners in particular but conservatives everywhere, except maybe in the Northeast, can take a shine to. At least he seems to have some shards of personality.

Rick Perry could end this and sink Romney with ONE freaking response. Heck he has a couple of weeks to practice it too.
The next time the HPV issue is brought up Perry should say:
Yes, I admit, I did my best to try to keep the children of Texas from getting a deadly completely preventable cancer, unlike the baby butcher Romney over here who until he started running for president advocated the slaughter of innocent children.
game set match.
Perry has never lost a race in his life and has been able to recover from numerous setbacks. It’s a mistake to underestimate him.
“Sure I ran roughshod over parental rights and wanted to inject children with an unproven drug because we know all 11 year olds are sluts, would make my friends hundreds of millions in profits too, then we’d give it to the boys too. muahahahahahaha”

I would rather my candidate stuck children with needles to save their lives than to have contributed to the slaughter of 100’s of millions of babies like Romney the baby killer.
I know Thursday night really stung, Cincinatus’ Wife, but posting some positive drivel about Perry, from msDNC of all
places, really smells like desperation.
lol.
The shots are available for those who want them, we don’t need the government mandating we spend hundreds of dollars for “healthcare”.
Isn’t that why we oppose ObamaCare?
almost all of them things that can be spread in school.... 12 year olds aren’t supposed to be having sex in school... yet.
My tagline answers your question.
I agree it’s a mistake to underestimate Rick Perry. Just like it was a mistake to underestimate G.W. Bush.
I like his candid responses and I don’t think he is “soft” on immigration. Try walking in the moccasins of someone who governs a state with probably a near majority of Hispanics — mostly generations of legal Hispanics.
He has charisma, looks presidential and knows how to win elections. Obama will look like an inept yuppie in throwdown with Perry.
Pandering to those who break the law should be a no-go for the GOP, those candidates should be non-starters.
I doubt most legal hispanics want open borders and higher taxes to pay for the illegals goodies.
Should the children of illegal aliens be given preferential treatment over legal American citizens, by being allowed to pay lower tuition?
Yes or no???
(Perry does.)
BONUS QUESTION:
Do you think people who oppose this are heartless?
Yes or no?
(Perry does.)
(If you answered yes to those questions, look in the mirror. You are part of the reason America is going down the toilet.)
It makes sense MSNBC would support a democrat like Amigo Perry. Newt and Mitt stink too.
I like Santorum and Bachmann.
I have to hand it to you, you are tireless in your defense of the indefensible.
Cain worked for the Federal Reserve - no thanks. This is worse than working at Goldman Sachs. He is one of the elites like Mitt, Perry and Newt. No thank you.
I like Rick Santorum.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.

Gordon McCleary, the Wakulla Republican Clubs President said, It will be interesting to see how this vote matches up with Presidency 5. Wakulla mirrors the makeup of the Sunshine State so I believe the results are representative of Republicans as a whole.
