The cover-up of Fast and Furious is unraveling at breakneck speed. As a result of the ongoing investigation by Rep. Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, the LA Times and Townhall.com are both reporting Mexico has been kept in the dark about the deadly fallout of the botched operation.
While information about the mounting carnage trickles out, a black cloud has descended over the White House, the DOJ and American-Mexican relations.
From Townhall.com:
"I would be remiss if I didn't mention, as the Attorney General in Mexico is so concerned, she's made the point that at least 200 Mexicans have been killed with these weapons and probably countless more," Issa said. [snip]This is not surprising, considering out of 2500 weapons the Obama Justice Department allowed to "walk," and that only 600 have been recovered, the rest are lost until they show up at violent crime scenes.
The LA Times:
Marisela Morales, Mexico's attorney general and a longtime favorite of American law enforcement agents in Mexico, told The LA Times that she first learned about Fast and Furious from news reports. And to this day, she said, U.S. officials have not briefed her on the operation gone awry, nor have they apologized...

In one of the links is a transcript of a conversation Holder had while being questioned about Fast and Furious.
Holder was asked if his Deputy AG James Cole authorized FAF. His reply, “my guess would be no”.
Holder is Cole’s boss. He should be able to pick up the phone and know the answer in about 2 minutes. What the heck is going on here?
I will read the links in post #17: Thanks.
The American people need an executive summary. Of course, it wouldn’t hurt to have an honest media who would report the truth.
“What were they thinking?”
Exactly.
I have co-workers from Mexico and my kids have classmates from Mexico who all tell stories about car-jackings and other violence; fearing to drive at night; and whole sections of their country being a no-go area.
One of my friends had not seen her elderly grandparents for about three years. When she finally got to go back for a visit she could only see them once because they live out in a rural area and it was too dangerous to drive out that far and see them.
All of them are shocked and saddened by how much their country has disintegrated.
Now to find out the Obama admin is OK with that is upsetting.
Enough to empeach any White President!
Some noteworthy articles about politics, foreign or military affairs, IMHO, FReepmail me if you want on or off my list.
People are ONLY saying the F&F goal was (sorta) repealing the 2nd Amendment.
Nah!
It was:
1.(Sorta) repeal the 2nd Amendment
2. Move a huge portion of Northern Mexico into the USA, in order to vote.
3. Win the political allegiance of the new de-facto NarcoTeror RULERS of Mexico.
Good-hearted people naturally only see the FIRST objective, when it’s more likely there were these two others.
And thats just the ones we know about ... so far.

Thanks for the ping.
In short - their 'enemy' was the usual: conservative American citizens. That's how much liberal elites hate us... if we aren't as 'horrible' as they say we are, they set up crap like this and lies to make us look that way.
This is Watergate, this is Nixon, this is the Narcissist in Chief and his Chicago friends going nuts.
Buckwheat was thinking that the resulting chaos would help pass more confiscatory gun laws and outlaw private gun ownership.
The Cosa Nostra is ahead (at this point) in total body count. However if calculated on a per annual basis, the Cosa Nostra is far far behind. ERIC WINS!
Thanks for the ping!

They were thinking of undermining the Rights of American Citizens by manufacturing a crisis that went way wrong.
Now, we have not only the murders of American citizens and law enforcement but Mexican citizens as well. It could be possibly much worse if the guns were transported through Mexico into other nations as well.
We are facing an international incident at the least and Mexico has every right to declare what our Government did an act of war.
Every person involved had better be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and there had better not be any mention of more gun control or there’s gonna be hell to pay.
My question is how many other fast and furious stories are there around the world that we don't know about?
we are ruled by a regime that is hell bent on taking us down. Its up to us and others like us to find out what they are really up to.
