Exactly. The battle for the WH is only one of the many battles that are taking place. It is the war to restore America that is important. House, Senate, President, media.
I can see it now.....I bet with this rumor the LSM are staging their reporters to Alaska. Sarah calls the radio show and announces, then.....nothing. No big press conference, no big rally. And the LSM are spending the weekend in Alaska looking for something to talk about!!
Many times, a prospective candidate will announce that they’re going to announce. Bachmann did this - remember, she made a statement at some event (maybe it was one of the early debates), then had a “formal” announcement ceremony/rally a few days later.

Re McGinnis, I think it would be a mistake for her to respond. These charges were so scurrilous and ungrounded, they don’t deserve a response from her. That is what staff (and sometimes family) are for. If she wants to be prez, she needs to act the part. Respond to political issues and criticisms? OK (most of the time). Personal rumor stuff? Doesn’t deserve her response. Why sell books for the ahole?

It is routine practice to refer to ex officials by their highest former title (thus, Cheney is “Mr. Vice President” even though he’s not the current VP, etc).

Every other GOP candidate would give their left testical/ovary for the free coverage and publicity she is getting without being a candidate. I think she should continue to tease the announcement for months, probably watch a few candidates wash out. After they have spent millions, she would only then have to begin to spend money under the oversight of the FEC (as I understand it - I may be wrong).
She could, with considerable fanfare, travel again to the radio show and announce there. FWIW, I am not convinced she is running.

I’d like to see her run, especially to tick off all the haters, just want to know she’s ready for a really serious fight against a lot of so-called conservatives.

But, with McGinnis book, she really doesn’t need to respond. Even the MSM (NY Times even!) has slammed the “book”. No need for her to wallow in the pig slop. My prediction is she says nothing. Her husband had to respond - McSlimeball accused his wife of having a long affair w/ his biz partner and that this was the reason the biz was dissolved. So, Todd and biz partner needed to respond and indeed both have. It would be a mistake for Sarah to get into this particular fray, as McAhole has already been marginalized in the common culture.
Those are his supporters that don’t spread hate. I think the majority are sane and true... but some are just flaming...

I just realized she’d be playing the freaks’ game of Friday afternoon announcements.
They wouldn’t have time to develop anything but spite for all the weekend political shows!

you’re going to get that from supporters of any candidate. Just the way it is in politics or Mac vs PC discussions.
I can not count the # of times on this thread that it was stated, that Sarah promised Bob and Mark that they would be the first to know.
