Drip. Drip. Drip. Whether it is Solyndra, Obamacare, or Fast and Furious, President Obamas push for his American Jobs Act has been drowned out this week by the failure of his past policies.
Every night it seems there is a new angle on the Energy Departments failed loan to the bankrupt solar panel manufacturer Solyndra. Not only was there a headline-grabbing hearing before the House Energy and Commerce Committee yesterday (at which Obama officials tried to blame Bush) , but the Treasury Department separately announced that their Inspector General (IG) would join the FBI and Energy Department IG in their investigation of the firm.
The Associated Press also came out with a new batch of emails showing career officials in the Health and Human Services Department had grave misgivings about a key source of early Obamacare funding, the CLASS Act. At first glance this proposal doesnt look workable, Chief Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Actuary Richard Foster wrote. And CBS News reports that three more homicides have been tied to weapons connected with the Obama administrations failed Fast and Furious gun-walking sting.
Obama has been reduced to telling adoring college audiences, If you love me, you got to help me pass this bill. Unfortunately for Obama, no Democrat in Congress loved him enough to introduce his jobs bill under its preferred title, the American Jobs Act. So yesterday Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, filed his own tax cut bill under that name. Nothing is going as planned for the president this week.

I don't think they can cut their losses and run.
Through their own allegiance to political correctness they cannot ask an AFRICAN-AMERCAN to resign! The only, and I mean only way they can do that is if Obama volunteers to resign.
However, if he refuses, what are they going to do? Moreover, what if he announces it? What if he tells his fanatic followers that certain senior democrats asked him to resign but he is not because he's fighting for THEM (his followers) and this is just another example of the Man sticking it to the brother!!!!
In fact, that is the tactic they used ON the Clintons (that campaign was not just Hillary, as Bill was maybe not running her campaign but he surely ran his mouth).
No, the dems have areal dilemma on their hands and theirs no good way out. The resign issue ala Nixon will not work. Barry is no Dick*, he won't do the graceful thing and resign.
If I was a conspiracy nut I would even worry that they'll (the powers that be) use some whacked out lunatic, give him a TEA party background, and then have him put a cap in the One.
* Well, he is but I hope you knew I meant Dick Nixon!
And no one will do anything for fear of a race war. As if it isn’t starting up anyway.
Are they trying to push him out because..................they’re racist?
Shucks, this is just too much fun. ;)
I’ll bet the Dems regret inviting their vampire in now.
I don’t think Mr. Soetoro is as slick as Bubba or Hillary, nor is he surrounded by the same ilk as the Klintoons. If impeached, I don’t think he’ll wiggle off the hook. Now, how soon can he be impeached? I’d love to hear the argument that says he’s not “legit” and even the hint of impeachment would be an admission of legitimacy. Let the games begin!
Good point. Show the Kenyan the secret file on him (if it even is a secret to him) and allow him to resign without disclosing its contents to the press or public. I hadn’t thought of that.
LOL!
Has nothing to do with 39% approval number, failed programs, bad golf game, a depression, no jobs, or terrible choices in vacations
If you love me, you will save me...........
Obama had better get used to it because it'll be that way until after November 2012.
White House Pressure for a Donor? (Tried to get 4 star AF General to change testimony...)
Actually, it’d be better for the GOP Nominee to run against the Kenyan.
Idi Obama = President 3-putt.
The old press and the Democrat establishment will do nothing that would alienate black voters. They’ll cry and moan about how they don’t think things are going well, and then run a third candidate to split the Republican vote.
It’s a good tactic to announce publicly that we’ll work with him, and then do what we want with his piece of cr@p
Exactly. It would be a major mistake for Republicans to try to impeach him. Let the Dems stew in their pool of corruption, and run against the a-hole.
I am not going to think that. Never underestimate enemy
