Sarah Palin must wonder what happened to her political glamour.

Ten months ago, Gigot and his WSJ editorial staff were waxing eloquent about Palin's sophisticated understanding of monetary policy and the negative effects of QE2:
"The former Alaskan Governor showed sound political and economic instincts by inveighing forcefully against the Federal Reserve's latest round of quantitative easing. According to the prepared text of remarks that she released to National Review online, Mrs. Palin also exhibited a more sophisticated knowledge of monetary policy than any major Republican this side of Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan."Now that the hour of her decision approaches, Mr. Gigot says if Palin had spent more time boning up on economics and how the world works, she may have had a shot.
Yeah, I see a pattern...panic.
Governor Palin needs QUALITY in her supporters, not necessarily QUANTITY...
...so it's just as well that she gets rid of all the "squishy" ones now. There is, of course, the Biblical precedent of Gideon
2 The LORD said to Gideon, You have too many men.I cannot deliver Midian into their hands, or Israel would boast against me, My own strength has saved me.
3 Now announce to the army, Anyone who trembles with fear [i.e., any of you squishy establishment RINOs] may turn back and leave Mount Gilead.
So twenty-two thousand men left, while ten thousand remained...
>>> You guys are freakin’ obsessed with her!
Has he and such as he opened 200 new threads about “The Undefeated”? aka “The Unwatched”.
Obsession has seriously undermined Palin, but not any obsessions by her skeptics.
Blah blah blah.
For someone who so “finished”, they can’t shut up about her!
I was the second thumbs-up on that one.
I have PDS fatigue.
So for all suffers please do me the favor of suffering in silence.
The gov’s been on the national scene in earnest for over three years and I’m not tired of her yet. This “Palin fatigue” thing, which is actually a “I’m bored sick of Palin and I’m going to go on at length about how bored sick I am of her” thing, has been on the national scene for the last few days and I’m bored of it. I hope I’m making myself clear.
I’m just getting warmed up.
Run, Sarah, Run!
As long as the MSM are still talking about her, it is not too late.
If she ran a conventional campaign, the GOP ruling class would have taken her out by now, because to them, DC is an exclusive country club of which they are a member. The last thing they want is somebody to come in and rock them right out of the boat.
In order to win the nomination, she has to outwit and outmaneuver them.
And if she succeeds at that, imagine how many knots she'll tie Ubama into.
My bet is TOTUS will refuse to debate her. A quick wit beats a TelePrompTer every time.
And about that "she quit the governorship" thing:
Democrats use the legal system to destroy their opponents.
They filed over 200 ethics complaints against her, not one of which was upheld.
It would have cost her upward of $500,000 in legal bills to defend herself, and it would have cost the state of Alaska millions, plus they would have had a governor embroiled in personal legal battles rather than the taking care of the state's business.
If she had stayed as governor of Alaska, Palin would have HAD to declare personal bankruptcy, and her act of staying WOULD have cost the State of Alaska many millions of dollars as the people in her administration had to do their part in defending the frivolous ethics charged Democrats leveled against her.
Had she stayed, right now you'd probably be saying:
"I'm not a big Palin supporter because I have never thought she was really capable of handling the fiduciary responsibilities that go with the office. If she'd managed to get through her term without having to declare bankruptcy and costing the state millions of dollars because of the ethics charges made against her, I'd feel more confident, but she seems to be unable to run her own financial house, on top of which her administration cost her state millions of dollars."
Palin is coming, and the Tea Party is coming with her.
Me too. I am fatigued by Zer0, and so is the U.S. economy. What an incompetent (insert derogatory description here, as they all fit)
>>> There is, of course, the Biblical precedent of Gideon.
Someone made a list of the people to whom Palin has been compared. Gen. Patton and Abraham Lincoln for example. Congratulations on adding Gideon onto the list. It’s getting tough finding new additions since the pond has been so thoroughly fished already.
>>> The LORD said to Gideon, You have too many men.
Great theology for a politician.
I think somehow a segment of political supporters of GOP candidates OTP (”other than Palin”) have concluded that Saul Alinsky is a better role model than President Reagan.
Reagan’s 11th Commandment seems to have taken a timeout.
Thing is, these sadly misguided souls, haven’t yet realized Palin has every bit the teflon Reagan did.
The more they whine about her, the more support she attracts.
This must be the latest talking points from the MSM. It will not work. We will have Perry Romney fatigue by the time she gets in.
