"Run, Sarah, run!" the Manchester crowd chanted, forcing Palin to pause her speech and say, "I appreciate your encouragement. I do." Will that encouragement be enough to bring Palin into the 2012 campaign as the bearer of the populist banner? The mere possibility is enough to give the "permanent political class" nightmares, and to inspire pleasant dreams for the people whose prayers her campaign would answer.

Thank you. Excellent work. That list makes me sit back and think.
That list would embarrass me if I were the one being compared to all those people. First of all, you really do need to have accomplised something before being compared favorably to people who have unquestionably accomplished a great deal. Good intentions don't really count.
I have stated this before, and I know you've seen it. Others obviously need to.
It's not who you are compared to that makes you great. It's who is compared to you that reveals your stature.
Who has been compared to this person? Almost no one. There is a reason for this.
When someone is compared to Reagan, it is because Reagan was an accomplished individual, well respected and revered by those who found him to be inspirational.
When someone is compared to the other person, there's a big question why someone would bother. What have they accomplished? Where's the broad body of their works? Why do the people who do, find this person inspirational? What did this person actually do to deserve it?
Did they serve two terms as governor? Did they spend two terms as president? Did they lower the curtains on the Evil Empire? Did they actually stand up to and conquer anything to this point?
We have a term as mayor in a small berg.
We have one term as governor that was cut short by choice.
We have one failed attempt at election as V.P. on a presidential ticket.
We have this person backing the most Leftist Republican I've ever seen for re-election over a Conservative.
We have this person positioning themselves as a populist rock star politician.
This rates them being compared to that list of people? Really?
It doesn't rate anyone being compared to this person. Again, there must be a reason.

Oh no Lady Lucky....
It’s Sun Tzu...it’s Reaganesque....she’s messing with the lamestream media....living rent free in their heads....it’s brilliant!
You’re right. There’s no reason to delay announcing or at least give a concrete date for announcing.
Leadership requires decisiveness. I just don’t see it.
