The People's Palin

"Run, Sarah, run!" the Manchester crowd chanted, forcing Palin to pause her speech and say, "I appreciate your encouragement. I do." Will that encouragement be enough to bring Palin into the 2012 campaign as the bearer of the populist banner? The mere possibility is enough to give the "permanent political class" nightmares, and to inspire pleasant dreams for the people whose prayers her campaign would answer.

They are scared. Democrats, the establishment, so called "conservative" commentators (Coulter, Ingraham, etc.), and more.

She is of the people.

I've been criticized by the Palinistas for commenting on her poll numbers and screachy voice. So I'm not a Palinbot. It is clear though that she is the only one who will take on the ruling class without fear. Every current event, she is there taking it to them. NONE of the other candidates are. Has Rick Perry, or any of the others forcefully condemned the Hoffa speach?

the conservative commentators are obsessed with polls. They’re constantly pick the candidates that are moderates who they think can win the general, then whine when that candidate don’t govern like a conservative. Thats why Mccain was picked. They rather play it safe then go for the real deal

She needs a Conservative running mate, not an open borders RINO phony.

What do Jesus and Sarah Palin have in common? Only God knows the hour of their coming to save mankind.

You might be right. If Sarah runs, there will be a pitched battle between her and Perry, and whoever loses might very well retain enough clout to secure the VP spot.

I’d love to see her pick a running-mate at the same time she announces, and run as a team. Someone like Col. Allen West, for example ;-) Can you imagine, a woman and a black man running on the Republican ticket? We could run New Jersey on the power of exploding liberal heads alone!

Don’t disagree. But politics is get your foot in the door, then cause havoc. It’s chess and not chess. Perry is just to get votes. Politics is compromise.

Sarah Palin is the presidential candidate we have all been waiting for since Ronald Reagan. Someone who spent a good part of her life just like the rest of us, working hard, paying our bills and living the American Dream.

No, Sarah did not go to Yale, or Harvard. She was not of the annointed classes, born to privilege and raised to rule. So maybe she does not know what fork to use for the Belgium endive and she certainly doesn't have a vacation home on Martha's Vineyard or West Palm Beach.

One thing for sure is that Sarah Palin remembers where she came from and when she gets to the White House, she will represent the citizens of this country, just like the Founding Fathers envisioned, and she will not be a tool of the elite power brokers in the Beltway.

This is why she is absolutely hated by the mainstream media and the bureaucrats in Washington D.C. They will do all they can to destroy her and to make us "little people" think she dumb and stupid and not worthy of high office. So they will make fun of her on the late night shows and try to make the rest of us feel like backwards country bumpkins for supporting her.

Don't fall for it. Let's take full advantage of this one-in-a-generation opportunity to take back our country. It may be our last chance.

Amen!

That is one thing that you can criticize Ronaldus Magnus for. When George H.W. Bush was inaugurated as President, the Reagan Revolution died.

The next VP has got to be as Conservative as the POTUS -- assuring a continuation.

We don’t need an open borders type who can’t let go of power.

Exactly. She cannot have a RINO runningmate. No way. I trust her to choose wisely for the good of our country.
