(TPM) — Teamsters union president James Hoffa would say it all again if he could, he told TPM Monday.
Hoffa riled up Fox News and the right wing Monday with a Labor Day speech in Detroit in which he called Republican members of Congress “sons of bitches” and said union workers are ready to “go to war” with the tea party next year and “take out” Republicans at the ballot box.
Hoffa said he’d say the exact same words all over again.
“I would because I believe it,” he said. “They’ve declared war on us. We didn’t declare war on them, they declared war on us. We’re fighting back. The question is, who started the war?”

Our local news played the clip from Hoffa’s speech. I didn’t even expect that. It was delivered in a straightforward way—no judgmental nuance as when the Gifford story was delivered with the call for “civil discourse” from the Tea Party. I agree, if the Dems are successful in making the Tea Party the bad guys, then we are lost.

I wish I were in a position to go face to face with this turd and his supporters; I would try to explain, in very graphic detail, that I am a Republican, and a Tea Partier, and taking me out will be a very costly and painful thing to try to do. He calls it a war but it seems to me that most all the combat vets are on my side, already tested and still armed. He would be well advised to walk back a few steps and think about calling out that many old men who “ain’t scared o’$hit and ain’t got that long left anyway”.

A real way to fit back at unions is as a part of certification require public disclosure of the salaries of union officials and how the dues are spent. I imagine the average member will be horrified if he/she knew how there money was spent.
Hoffa Jr needs to specify exactly what he means by war and someone needs to ask him straight up. Does he mean physical intimidation, vote fraud, bribery? He couldn’t mean a war of ideas or a debate because his side has no good ideas. So we must infer that he does mean physical violence and illegal activity.
I know...that’s why I have been singing it from the rooftops tonight. AP waited on Media Matters to spin the whole thing before they issued a proper jack booted thug response! Now AP(Obama’s butt buddies)..is shaping the story...one bit at a time.

The thing that does not get said is that Rick Perry said that Bernanke would be treasonous if he did start printing money in order to make the economy look better for its benefit to Obama’s reelection. He did not call him treasonous for his terrible policies (Keynesian economic policy). It would be the same if I said that Zer0 would be treasonous if he sold top secrets to the Chinese in exchange for campaign money.
The bottom line, this is just more smear tactics. We the good citizens of this nation know the truth.

I seem to remember, however, that the left went crazy when people referred to the 2010 election as “judgment day” because they thought there was an implied threat. And no one, then, said “war” or “son of a b#$%^^.”
The war is about whose brand new stadium will Mr Hoffa’s carcass be supporting.
