INDIANOLA, Iowa -- Sarah Palin still isn't a candidate, but in an aggressive bid to lay down her marker in the 2012 Republican presidential race, she delivered a speech here Saturday that was as confrontational toward the Republican establishment as it was aimed at President Obama.
Despite her high-profile endorsement of Rick Perry during his 2010 gubernatorial primary fight, Palin used thinly veiled language to leave little doubt that she sees the Texas governor and national front-runner for the Republican nomination as part of the problem.
Some GOP candidates, they also raise mammoth amounts of cash, Palin said. We need to ask them, too: What, if anything, do their donors expect from their investments? We need to know this because our country cant afford more trillion-dollar thank-you notes to campaign backers.
Again and again, Palin urged her audience to confront the permanent political class, crony capitalism and the good ol boys, whom she said she took on as governor of Alaska.
[.....]
Theyve got a lot of mouths to feed, a lot of corporate lobbyists, a lot of special interests that are counting on them to keep the good times and the money rolling along, Palin said. It doesnt surprise me. Ive seen this kind of crony capitalism before.

Fields have bows?
What’s that Sarah...you are NOT for “Open borders” like “Scott Brown from Texas” Perry? How dare you!
bttt
Sarah isn’t for open borders, but she supports amnesty, which will destroy this country with the stroke of a pen.
She's far better than anyone in the race, but since only she can decide if/when to get in, I'll just keep my powder dry.
Every politician except Tancredo is for amnesty.
So if Palin runs, she isn't going to take big donations? How's that going to work running against Obummers massive cash machine?
Ms. Sarah Palin, that was a magnificent, hard hitting, truthful, factual speech you gave today!!! You hit the nail on the head. We, the people have been waiting for some Republican, any Republican to take failed POTUS Obama to the wood shack, every day, hour after hour, minute after minute. Obama is not for America. Worse, he is not for any American!!! He is for himself and his political cronies, the blood suckers of the American economy whether they are in labor unions. corporate cronies, etc. He feels no pain but his own!!! No pain for the unemployed, not for Black folks, not for Hispanics, not for the common man and woman!!! and....he now has the USA disrsepected all over the world by friend and foe alike. The Middle East with African Muslim, Obama’s help is now purely Muslim Brotherhood controlled. Meanwhile the Republican potential candidates and some leaders of the Republican party hid in the closet, instead of taking this anti-American, empty suit to task, head-on!!! May the good Lord continue to guide and bless you Sarah Palin!!!
Look, I understand your from Canada (Victoria?), but word precision is not a requirement in American public education these days. You’re, you know, just supposed get it and not ask silly questions like “do fields have bows?”.
For that matter being able to write a simple sentence or express a complete thought is not very important these days either. It’s eminently more important spending the education day rolling condoms onto cucumbers and being forced to learn that homosexuality is far superior to heterosexuality. And it’s absolutely essential, dare I say critical, that kindergartners be taught about sex. Oh, and the unambitious and lazy have an absolute right to achiever’s money.
Anything is OK so long as they learn nothing about the personal pride and enrichment that accompanies personal achievement.
And deep down in their hearts, the MSM knows that she is RIGHT:
Please provide a credible source for Palin’s purported support for amnesty. Flies in the face of every thing has said she believes.
“Every politician except Tancredo is for amnesty.”

Funny, I thought that was a swipe at Romney not Perry. What makes RCP think that was a swipe at Perry?
"Read my lips. No new axes".
Must be you all’s listening to Palin speech is like reading the Bible, everyone has “their” version. From what I have read of her speech so far don’t see anything even remotely anti-Perry.
1,000 to 2,000 showing up sounds a bit disappointing. What happened to the huge crowds? Maybe recent polls are not totally off the wall.
“she supports amnesty”
Knock off the disinformation campaign!
Newsbusters:
Recently, it has been implied that Governor Sarah Palin supports amnesty for illegal aliens. This gets bleated by those who find offense at her remark that she supports “a path to citizenship for illegals”. That does sound pretty damning all by itself.
If you suffer an accute case of PDS, you don’t even need this as an excuse to hate the governor, but if you are actually interested in the truth, a close examination might be in order.
