Every politician except Tancredo is for amnesty.

Not true.

Representative Duncan Hunter does not approve of amnesty for illegal aliens and has worked against it.

Bachmann isn’t. Nor is Steve King or Lamar Smith or Jim Demint or Jeff Sessions just to name a few.

From O4P site:

Supportive of Arizona’s immigration law– first to stand with Governor Brewer “Secure the Border” effort

Supports sending troops to the U.S. Mexico border and completion of a fence to secure America’s southern border

Opposed to amnesty for illegal immigrants

Opposed to the DREAM act

Opposes boycotts of states who implement state immigration laws

Supportive of legal immigration

"Every politician except Tancredo is for amnesty."

Sorry, but that's an incorrect generalization. Neither Michelle Bachmann nor Herman Cain support any type of amnesty or "path to citizenship". Cain is for relatively open immigration, Bachmann is not.

Obfuscation is not helpful or acceptable when we're trying to decide who's fit or unfit for the highest office in the land.

Until the entitlements have been properly handled, amnesty is insane.

Politicians want votes. Amnesty would add a lot of new voters who could be counted on to vote for the people who gave them amnesty. Politicians supporting amnesty are putting their personal political interests ahead of the interests of the American people.

Politicians putting their personal political interests ahead of the interests of the American people is exactly how the unconstitutional entitlement programs began and have relentlessly expanded.
