Black Teen Mobs Target St. Louis Cyclists in Knock-Out Game
Gateway Pundit | August 29,2011 | Jim Hoft

In April St. Louis youths playing the “knock-out game” beat, kicked and punched 72-year-old Hoang Nguyen and his wife on their way home from the grocery store.

Nguyen died in the attack.

In June black youths playing the “knock-out game” targeted and beat a gay man going to work. The victim suffered a broken nose, a sore jaw and a black eye.

This past week black youths in St. Louis playing the “knock-out” game are targeting cyclists in the city. KMOX reported:

There’s an alert out about recent assaults on bike riders in south St. Louis.

Trailnet.org, an organization that promotes hiking and biking, is cautioning riders to be on the alert for roving bands of teenagers who swarm and attack riders.

Trailnet says the latest attack was last Thursday (8/25) afternoon near Missouri Botanical Garden where a group of 10 to 15 African-American teens charged and attacked a cyclist.

“They weren’t really interested in robbing me. It just seemed like they wanted to beat me up,” says assault victim Cheech Ramirez. “They weren’t interested in letting me get off the ground and having a fair fight.”

Ramirez says he and his friends returned to the scene minutes later to help another bicyclist who was being beaten.

Police say there have been other, similar attacks in the city, and they believe all the victims are picked at random.

Mayor Francis Slay is calling for action, possibly with citizen bike patrols set up with the help of Trailnet and local police.

My wife has fired everything from 17M2 to 500 S&W Magnum. Even my T/C Encore with a .308 (100 gr). Her favorites are the SIG 225 (single stack 9mm) and S&W 686+ 4" bbl (.357 Mag). Both fit her hand well. It is important to be able to competently handle what you carry. I like the 686+ and put thousands of rounds down the barrel when I had time to do so. For hiking in bear country, I carry the S&W 629 4" bbl with PMC 240 gr hollow points. I once shot a centerfire match with that 629 using the 44 mag ammo. Not recommended for top scores. The one-hand 25 yard slow fire only netted 25 points. The two-hand 25 yard slow fire was 75 pts. The 686+ with 38SPL usually nets 95+ points on either target.

Some people just need killing...

But you will probably face 20 years in the slammer for shooting a protected species.

If “cousin” Raila Odinga’s defeat during the Kenyan Presidential elections (in which Obama campained for Odinga) are any indication, if Obama is re-elected in 2012, there will be no more elections after that - just riots and fraud and a dictator.

Maybe I was a soldier for too long. It’s been my experience, that you put some “bullies” in their place, and they go find someone weaker to rape, beat, murder etc. There have been a few times I wish I hadn’t been as compassionate as I have been, others have suffered.

For some reason, they *really* don’t like Dobes.

And The Boy doesn’t like them either.

[no, I did -not- “train” him thusly...he just came up with that one all on his own]

Oddly enough, unlike their preferred “pit bulls”, Dobermanns won’t put up with that “I’m gonna whup ya to make ya mean” crap.

Dobes will nail you if you abuse them.

"...since whereever there is an apartment complex, there will be Section 8 recipients.

Ditto that. I have seen several great neighborhoods ruined because landlords decided to take the easy way with Section 8.

I can do long guns okay. My dad put a butt pad on his 30-30 so I can shoot it. My favorite of his is the M1 carbine. My personal long rifle is a Savage 22-250. I also shoot a Marlin .45 Camp gun carbine, a Remington 710 in 30-06. It’s my wrists that are not so strong to hold that 1911A1. I do shoot it when converted over to .22 though.

Thanks.

I hate lots of numbers.

[but I can remember “45” too, if necessary]

Well when I’m home (I’m working in Australia now) and I’m out biking I do carry my Beretta and that wasp spray. If the spray doesn’t convince them then the Beretta will.

These pack animals need to be stopped, but not many people seem too interested in it.

Not many people know about what's going on, since the MSM has kept a lid on reporting these "games".

I suspect most of this activity occurs in places where the victims are unlikely to be armed. If these packs ever run into armed citizens, watch how the MSM spins everything and treats the vermin as victims.

Get ready. We are living in interesting times.

ahh, that’s good. It never hurts to have backup. I live in Canada, and I’m not allowed to carry my guns for self defense. Actually, that’s not true. Concealed carry is legal in Canada, but the federal government regulated it to the provincial governments to look after, and they just refuse to hand out any permits. You have to be imminent fear for your life, or life is jeapordized, and properly trained, all at the judgement of some provincial firearm’s officer who won’t give you one anyways.

Nobody gets away with that stuff when I’m around, for some reason situations always find me. I would never standby and let some person be accosted by someone or a group of someones.

You can't scare an old man with the threat of a long prison term.

Just saying. I guess at least in prison, you don't have to worry about real estate taxes and Obama Care. You'll have a solid gold benifit plan even if Bubba is your wife. ;~((

It’s the pity. I live in the Seattle area (right now I’m working in Australia) but I do have a CWP from WA and I’m always carrying. Seems the lib’s have to protect the innocent criminals who are turning their lives around, have a kid, and is divorced living on welfare.
