Nopardons was off topic. I was on-topic.

Now here’s the latest on Delaware River flooding and the prediction of flooding. All along the Delaware flood stage is predicted. Downstream from Tocks Island to Philly Moderate to Major Flooding is predicted. Moderate to Major level flooding will take place evening tonight, Sunday, through evening Tuesday.

Power outages extensive in central Bucks County PA and northern Mercer County NJ. Otherwise storm damage in those places is minimal.

Radio reports say Margate is in good shape.

I know some people in Charlotte Hall, actually a few miles West of the main part of the town. Do you know if there was any damage there?

NN - Thanks for the thread and all you do!

Can anyone report on the conditions on the ground in Somerset County NJ?

I’ve lost contact with my sister in Martinsville since early this morning, shortly after her power went out.

Here's a link to my weather page around NSQ:

Wind is backing around from N to WWNW, gusting to 40 on a steady 10mph. Bar. Pressure is going back up, so it should clear up in the next four hours or so. Then the real cleanup begins - got to get my basement dried out from the seepage. Bummer!

Checking in from northern nj . . . got some sleep, and woke to a glimpse of the sun here. . . . still have power thankfully, raining lightly, some flooding of local roads. . . .so nice not to hear the whistle of the wind constantly, winds beginning to shift. Thanks for keeping this thread alive . . . and God Bless you all!

You also could start a thread. Maybe even do a better job at moderating it.

Yes we are about 23 miles south of Wilkes Barre and 10 miles north of Hazleton. Our biggest communities are Beach Mountain Lakes and Eagle Rock. So far we have lots of rain and wind. No power outages thank god. Branches are down but no trees. Looking foward to taking a nice walk later on when Irene leaves.

Stu Ostro: Current greatest concerns: emergency flash flood situations in PA and NY, and rapid river rises in NJ; coastal flooding on Long Island, and a band of intense wind and rain in eastern Mass.

Cindy from South Dartmout :
Update from Padnaram/Nonqiutt - strong gusts..hide tide brought waves crashing over Nonquitt pier and Padnaram bridge. Bridge and Smith Neck Rd closed and at least two boats washed up on side of road. Limbs down and flying debris. Felt like Mike Seidel bracing against the wind with the rain pelting us!

We’re in Stony Point, NY 35 miles north of NYC. We live down the road from Seven Lakes Drive outside of Harriman State Park. There are many streams that flow from these lakes and they have just given way. Homes and yards are now 5 feet under water. I am appalled that there have been no broadcasts locally or otherwise! These people are in serious trouble. Please notify!!!!!

Have friends that evacuated from Inlet View and they are back home reporting all is good. None are in the woods though. May go over later, will keep you posted.
