Checking in from northern nj . . . got some sleep, and woke to a glimpse of the sun here. . . . still have power thankfully, raining lightly, some flooding of local roads. . . .so nice not to hear the whistle of the wind constantly, winds beginning to shift. Totally calm.No rain,no wind. Is this the “center” of the storm, or has the bottom faded away?
I can hear the brook,in some woods, but can’t see it.not a concern to us, tho.
The rain is picking up again, and a bit of wind. Our power is out and Public Service says they estimate a week till restored.@#+?#*!
But am counting our blessings!
