In aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Cornel West proclaimed, “[Hurricane Katrina] showed the unbelievable resilience [of blacks] in the face of crushing white supremacist powers.” This statement added to his already bloated legacy of race-baiting diatribes. Someone has to come by my house and get me off the floor. I cannot stop laughing at this statement. All blacks did were shoot at cops, loot, steal, rob, murder and every other crime you can think of after this storm. What a total load of BS.

This sort of internecine squabbling will continue as long as Blacks see themselves as race victims first and Americans second. Blacks need to shuck off their victim rags and join the rest of the country.
