Is this the “bad optic” that President Obama’s critics have been waiting for: An Associated Press photo of the president taking a call on the golf course within the hour after the East Coast earthquake Tuesday?
When Obama left for a 10-day vacation in Martha’s Vineyard last week, critics and supporters alike warned that the image of him pursuing leisure activities on the tony island might make for an unfortunate contrast with much of the country mired in economic doldrums.
Turned out it was a natural disaster, not the economy, which pierced his vacation bubble. But now we have a photo that shows him trying to balance work and play during the 5.8 magnitude quake — and, not surprisingly, it has stirred up some snark.

Oh finally!!! We have a picture of him frolicing on vacation while the country is going down the tubes! Finally. Our dreams are answered!
At what point during this administration has the country not been in the shitter? And when is he not on vacation?
It reminds me of the old Playboy cartoon that we had hanging in our Minuteman Launch Control Center (H01)in the late 70s.
It had two golfers, one about to putt and one standing by as a nuclear blast goes off in the distance. The bystander player tells the putting player “Go ahead and putt, you’ve got seven seconds ‘till the first shock wave hits us!”.
Gallows humor at the time and place but today it reflects poorly on the country that the POS Kenyan doesn’t give a $h!t about anything other than his vacation and daily golf outings.

“Natural disaster”? How about a minor but widely felt earthquake that did less damage than a multi-car pileup during a typical big city rushhour...
He’s a POS alright. And couldn’t give a S##T less about anyone else but his grand and glorious, ineligible-to-be-POTUS self.
Obamanation complained that it’s hard to read a green when it’s rolling merrily away.
