The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 19% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (45%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -26
You can win a 3 way race with numbers like that.
I still think that’s what they intend to do.
Put a RINO in as the GOP nominee and encourage a third/TEA party candidate.
Woohoo!!!!!
Cletus Index = 23
(Overall Approve) - (Strongly Approve)
The thought is that it should approach zero as his radical base slowly becomes his only supporters.
Yet a recent poll showed Romney beating him by only 2%, which I believe is a statistical tie. So I’m confused. All these people who don’t approve of Obama, but will vote for him anyway?
Let’s all sing...how low can he go...!
when he gets to -30 Obama will get his zero back
-30bama
LOL
I think they’ve got The Donald lined up for that, with a Chicago casino as his reward.
Forty-four percent (45%) Strongly Disapprove—
It is good to see the Strongly Disapprove getting bigger. We have another 16 months to get Obama’s Strongly Disapprove numbers to the 55% range.
That is how we totally take control of Washington and repeal Obama’s Disastrous Legislation.
A NEW and IMPROVED record for the one.
Maybe he will resign. I don’t know who is worse, Obama or Biden.
That’s usually the case. That is why Rasmussen considers the SA vs SD, the most important index. It measures enthusiasm. Right now, 45% of voters would climb over broken glass to vote for whoever the Republican candidate is. You can also bet their going to vote a straight R ticket. That’s a good thing for us!
Lowest Total Approve, 41%, September 9, 2010.
Highest Strong Disapprove, 47%, September 5 and 9, 2010.
Highest Total Disapprove, 58%, June 18, 2010 and September 9, 2010.
Lowest Presidential Approval Index, -26, August 23, 2011, setting a new low. Previous low was -24 on September 9, 2010 and August 22, 2011.
Current Strong Approve at absolute low. Total Approve is three points above his absolute low.
Current Strong Disapprove is two points below the absolute peak, and Total Disapprove is two points below the absolute peak.
Overall Presidential Approval Index sets new absolute low. This is primarily driven by a drop in Strong Approve to historic lows, while Total Approve has held steady over the last 30 days.
This move in the Strong Approve is probably a loss of support in Obama's hard left base, rather than a loss in the center-left.
I don’t care about that fringe 19%, I want the strongly disapproves to keep going up and up.
Funny, there’s only 11% difference between the Strongly Disapprove and the Total Disapprove.
I guess you can’t just “dislike” the Bamster,
you either like him or vehemently hate him.
Note to ScottR: no need to backtrack to -25 tomorrow, just keep on going to -26, or lower.
[OTOH, we've been burned with this in the past, where the bamster does something "heroic", and bounces back into near positive territory (ie, -4 on 1/24)]
Enjoy the vacation! Your next one is 1/3/12!
Is that a new low?
