The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 19% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (45%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -26
Yes. Absolute PROOF of the insanity of liberalism.
And now Hurricane Irene is projected to hit Matha’s Vinyard next Monday.
Wasn’t this slated as a 10-day vacation? He’ll have to evacuate if the projection holds up.
Abyss is Total Approve minus Strong Disapprove.
The premise is Total Approve represents the most votes a President can get, and the Strong Disapprove represents those who will come out to specifically vote against the President. A negative Abyss rating generally is seen as certain defeat, because you can't overcome the Strong Disapprovers even if you manage to motivate even your marginal supports to go to the polls.
“I’ve always thought it was redundant to add the numeric form in parentheses after the word form, but maybe not... “
It’s done for emphasis. Like you might say, ‘Obama says he has visited fifty-seven (57!) states’.
It’s just an idiomatic way of saying, ‘Don’t miss this number!’.
To 0b0z0's level.
Reminds me of absolute zer0, -273 Deg. K.
That will make her at least goof for sumtin!
MaRxine, a negative IQ at work.
He has 15 straight days where he is -20 and above! I love it this is the worst he has ever done!!
“19% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve. These folks need to be deprogrammed.”
Good luck:
11.9% of U.S. workers are union members and 12.9% of these members are black:
http://www.bls.gov/news.release/union2.t01.htm
12.6% of Americans are black:
http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/00000.html
There’s 234 million adults age 18 or older in the U.S.
http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/00000.html
So if you add all adult union members who are not black to all adults who are black, you end up with 18.1% of the adult population. These people are simply voting their interests (or their perceived interests). Until blacks wake up and realize just how bad Obamanomics has been for them (http://www.progressive.org/mpford071211.html), the 19% may be an impenetrable floor of Obama support.
'Tis a Thing of Beauty...
Like the late Harvey Martin, former defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys said of the Washington Redskins, “never feel sorry for Washington”.
Same applies here. Never feel sorry for Zero. He’s dug his own grave. Now it’s up to us to push him in and throw in the dirt.
“All these people who dont approve of Obama, but will vote for him anyway”
Sure.
I didn’t approve of Bush because he spent too much money, but I voted for him anyway.
-26Bama!!!
That would make a nice t-shirt
If he ever gets to 51% strongly disapprove, he is as mathematically eliminated as the Cubs usually are on September 1.
I can see if you disagree with her, but no candiate is perfect they have all made mistakes, less we not forget that Palin made some great endorsemets and was a big fotce in the dem onslaught of 2010. I only called you on PDS because you got on a thread that had no realtion to Palin what so ever and you made it about Palin, does she really bother you that much?
Some vexing possibilities that we may have to overcome:
The withdrawing of Obama from the race. (Remember LBJ?)
Obama challenged on the 'Rat side and will not be their nominee (though this not likely).
The entrance of Donald Trump as a third party candidate to split the GOP vote. (Remember Ross Perot?)
The possible nomination of a GOP candidate who, while not quite McCain, may not be very popular among conservatives.
Not being pessimistic here, only realistic.
