"Reclaiming America" bus tour will hold tea party rallies in 29 cities, span 17 days

The Tea Party Express is making final preparations to launch their fifth national tour that will bring conservative rallies to 29 cities across the country. Billed "Reclaiming America," the latest tour will feature conservative singers, speakers, and entertainers, as well as local elected officials and candidates. The tour will help put a spotlight on the failed policies of the Obama administration, and call for a return to fiscal responsibility, more efficient government, and free market principles.

The tour kicks off with a "Super Rally" this Saturday August 27th, at the Napa Valley Expo at 11am. From there the caravan will head east, to culminate on September 12th in Tampa, FL for the historic Tea Party Presidential Debate, hosted by CNN and Tea Party Express.

The upcoming Tea Party Express tour will spend extra time visiting early primary states such as New Hampshire, Iowa, and South Carolina, and has invited presidential candidates to join the rallies and speak to the tea party audience. Further details on other special guests joining the tour will be released in the coming days.

"Reclaiming America" sounds nice, but I would prefer something like...

"BACK TO THE BASICS (That Built Democracy Around The World)". Yes, I know we're not a democracy, but the word is now known to include all self-governing peoples.

"Reclaiming America" sounds too much like anti-"Change and Hope" and somewhat partisan, which will turn off the obambi leaning independents. IMHO.

Or, AMERICAN VALUES (That Made The World A Better Place)...or...?

How long will the napa gig go on? I work 9-1 on Saturday, and napa is about an hour away.

I took a look at their schedule yesterday, and IMNSHO, it was pretty stupid!

They will be in Des Moines on Sept. 1, and long gone on the 3rd! What is wrong with this picture? Would it be a great imposition to a two-day detour for them to be present at what could be a defining moment in American History?

Hasn't Sarah Palin been one of TPX's guiding lights, going back to the first TPX tour?

I would change one of your suggestions a bit, to "BACK TO THE BASICS (Our Constitutional Republic)" as I don't like using democracy as it has more negatives surrounding it than positives.

American Values would be good in there somewhere also.

Interesting that Fox News was reporting that about 20,000 people were at the 9/12 rally that had over a million people attending.

CNN always reports news as it happens so much better than Fox, they were a lot closer with their estimate.

And people wonder why we didn't have our cosponsored debate on Fox News.

Can you imagine having O’Reilly or even Hannity (or Beckel/Rove lol) as moderator!

Fox News isn't Conservative, it's more old school Republican.

Palin even had to call them on the carpet the other day, and CNN actually posted a rebuttal to the Fox diss Palin stuff.

Yes, unfortunately the TPX made their schedule before Palin announced her being at that rally on Sept 3 imo.

Yes, Palin has participated in several Tea Parties along the route of previous Tea Party Express tours.

I'm sure she has been invited to hit as many of the venues on this tour, as well as the debate.

We shall see.

She can get places pretty fast on a jet.
