Bachman bests Paul. Pawlenty third. Romney fourth. Works for me!
Pat Robertson won this one year.
John Bolton for Sec/State, Rudy, Atty General, Cain for Commerce, West for SecDef
Ron Paul for court jester.
Unfortunately this means nothing.
Just remember perry equals amnesty
Just over 16,000 voters many of whom are probably from out of state
Where are you pulling that from? That isn’t the guidelines/rules which require residency and elgibility to vote in Iowa Nov. 2012 general election. That is why they use the Iowa voter roles as one method of checking the participants.
Since 1980, the people of Iowa have chosen 6 of the past 8 Democratic nominees in their caucuses, and 5 of the last 8 Republican nominees.
Gladly. A backbencher with no legislative, governing experience, America hasn’t elected a Congressman President since James Garfield and I really don’t see Bachmann breaking that streak.
I can go on.
In the 2008 Texas Presidential Primary, Paul got less than 6% of the votes statewide.
He got only 9% in his home district.
Victoria knows him as well as anybody. And they don't think their Congressman would make much of a President.
And, of course, they're right.
IIRC, Rubio is ineligible to be President.

For those with think this means something. Here are the results from 4 years ago...
1 Mitt Romney 4,516 31.6%
2 Mike Huckabee 2,587 18.1%
3 Sam Brownback 2,192 15.3%
4 Tom Tancredo 1,961 13.7%
5 Ron Paul 1,305 9.1%
6 Tommy Thompson 1,039 7.3%
7 Fred Thompson 203 1.4%
8 Rudy Giuliani 183 1.3%
9 Duncan Hunter 174 1.2%
10 John McCain 101 0.7%
11 John H. Cox 41 0.3%
I think confronting Paul and his zombie stoner mob is an excellent strategy.
Yeah... He was born in Miami, Florida. While this may shock and dismay the birther battalion, if he wins an election, the Supreme Court will swear him in. I suppose the Democrats could complain about his eligibility. I'd pay good money to see that. Real good money.
Plus, Orly Taitz will be looking for work by then, so this will give her something to do.
I agree with you..I see politicians there, not patriots.

LOL - Post of the day!
Romney seems to be persona-non-grata as well as the agreed-upon frontrunner. Just hope there’s a promising also-ran that’s better than Romney.
‘Thaddeus McCotter____impressive and funny guy.’
He’s been on FOX’s ‘Red Eye’ every now and again, starting a time ago.
Low key funny - and impressive.
Thought his speech today - at least his *low key* delivery of the first part - was not up to what I would like to have heard.
He’s warming up, tho.
Hope he gets something in a Republican administration.
That’s just BS. I swamped my precinct caucus with Paulbots in February ‘08 in Washington (despite the fact I no longer support Paul, I’ll never forget the look on the establishment PCO’s face when she realized she was surrounded by a bunch of Ron Paul supporters).
Paul supporters turnout, it’s just that there aren’t that many of them. Considering Paul got about 4500 votes, that means he probably has around 20-25K supporters in all of Iowa, about 75% of which will show up on caucus night. Even if he got everyone of his supporters out, he still wouldn’t win, even in a low turnout year. Thing about it is though is that Paul supporters have been trained to become stealth delegates, and they are really effective at doing it. One thing that will help Paul get about three extra votes is that Dennis Kucinich supporters will have nowhere to turn as a Democrat, so they’ll probably register as a Republican and vote for Ron Paul.
