(((((PING)))))
I think she just likes to mess with the media.
She loves her country and she supports conservatism and whatever conservative may run in 2012.
She did the same in 2010. If it weren’t for Sarah Palin we would not have had many of the victories we got in 2010.
What’s behind Sarah Palin’s surprise trip to the Iowa State Fair?

Surprise Trip? Really?? Just exactly WHO is surprised about this?
Isn’t this what presidential candidates do?
If she were going to be running, the time do jump in was many weeks past.
At this point, she will be more valuable organizing republicans and candidates against any and all opposition, including Obama. While doing so, she can be prepping and positioning for the future, including a cabinet position or even vice-president, and from that, she would become a more daunting candidate for the presidency in future elections. She would become even more “fearsome” to the democrats.
Peter Grier could’ve just called her for an answer to his question, but no...he had to write a column about that which he has no clue.
I wonder how Sarah is going to handle this?
GO SARAH!
She should follow Baraq’s bus tour thru the midwest and we can see who draws the best crowds....
She’s going to use the ‘paid by FOX’ time to keep herself out there, as well as the SarahPAC bus. She can press-the-flesh at the Fair; give her speech in Iowa on Labor Day; then announce her candidacy after all of the hoopla and bump of Perry and possibley Rudy is over. Late August or September she will announce. Very prudent. She will let everyone else battle and be eliminated by either the debate/straw poll or media mudslinging. Then step in to suck the oxygen away from whomever is left standing. That way she will have minimum investment of time and money with maximum exposure. Sun Tzu ‘The Art of War’. She will need to save her resources to fight Zero’s billion-dollar campaign of thuggery and destruction.
She has a craving for deep-fried butter, deep-fried Coca-Cola.
Palin’s going to be in Iowa next week. Perry’s going to be in Iowa next week. Obummer’s going to be in Iowa next week. The planets are aligning, they are triangulating their position. Now what? Personally, I’m hoping Palin and Perry are going to use their combined powers to open a supermassive black hole in the space time continuum and disappear Obummer right into some alternate universe where we will never hear from him again. Or something like that.
Of course she might just have seen the musical. >PS
Surprise to whom?
Why I bet she’s going to get one of those great Corn Dogs they sell at the Fair. /s
More face time.
“Corn Dogs”...she loves ‘corn dogs!’
It’ll be interesting to see what she does. I do very much hope she runs. And I will repeat what I said on another thread: I think she’s getting close to her sell-by date. She needs to decide and announce soon. Not today. Not necessarily this week. But soon.
At a certain point the toe-in-the-pool, toe-out-of-the-pool routine gets old. Prudent consideration is perceived as instead as indecisiveness. Supporters and potential staff peel off and support other candidates.
She needs to decide and announce soon.
My guess is that Perry and Palin will both get in. If they can garner the support to be in the top 2 spots, then the one in second place becomes VP for the other. Win-Win and a strong ticket either way. They appear to like each other. It is a guess, but something is up. I feel it in my political bones.
